Cali Coffee in Brandon, Tampa is like if an energy drink and a beach vacation had a baby. I walked in thinking I’d just grab a simple iced latte, but suddenly I was being hit with neon colors, good vibes, and enough caffeine options to power a small city.

The staff? Hyper-friendly. Like, suspiciously friendly. I don’t know what they put in the coffee but I’m 80% sure it’s sunshine and pure serotonin. One barista complimented my shoes, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.

I ordered a drink called the “Calitastic Something-Or-Other” (I blacked out halfway through the name) and it came out looking like a party in a cup. Tasted like happiness with a side of “you’re not sleeping tonight.” 10/10 would recommend if you want your heart rate to match the tempo of EDM.

I knew it was coming soon. I waited patiently. It's finally here!! They actually picked this part of Gornto Lake in Brandon to open their first location in Tampa Bay. It's right next door to PDQ.

So, the hype is real. I really enjoyed the seasonal Iced Pumpkin Butter latte. It's even more special when adding their signature pumpkin cold foam and cinnamon sprinkles. They have all different kinds of milk alternatives, and can sweeten the drink to your liking. The actual coffee tastes better than Scooters, but very similar to Dutch Bros. They have other drinks as well, but I had to try the coffee first. It's a winner! I love the autumn flavors!
