Leña Churrascaria Food Truck — Restaurant in Brandon

This is now my FAVORITE place!!! We ordered with Doordash looking for something new. I ran across Leña's, and my husband and I loved the sound of the menu, so we decided to order.

We ordered the "Parrilladas Mixtas / Mixed Grill", so that way we were able to sample a lot of different meats. It came with 1 side, and then we ordered 2 more so we would have a good sampling of the sides. So we had the garlic rice, couscous, and the tostones. It came with 2 sauces, one was a chimichurri sauce, and the other was a garlic sauce.

Everything was exceptionally flavorful, the meats as well as the sides. My only complaint would be we ordered our meats medium rare, and it came very well done. Now I realize it was made in Brandon, and we live in Plant City, but even still......it was delicious!!! Other than that we needed more of the chimichurri sauce. The only other thing I would suggest would be to back off the time for the pork. It was super tasty, but very very dry.

Now the sides.......I have never had couscous that I liked, but Leña couscous has changed that for me. I could take a big bowl of this stuff and eat it all!!! Damn it's good. Then the tostones were also the best I've ever had. I wish that it came with 4 pieces instead of 3. I'd pay more for that. The garlic rice, is rice and I love rice, so I just added a little butter to it and WOW....the whole meal was spectacular!!

If Leña's ever moves to Plant City, I will get really fat!! That's all I can say, so go to Leña Churrascaria Food Truck try it out for yourself.....you will be...

This is our second time ordering in two weeks. Last week the food was incredible. Fried yuca was crispy and flavorful. Picanha was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. And garlic rice and beans were delicious.

This week the yuca was slightly soggy but a few minutes in the air fryer and it was fine. Meat not as flavorful, but still good.

Only complaint, and this happened both times, is that the sauces provided for $70 worth of food does not add up. Two, 2 oz. containers half full and one for a lb. of meat just...

I happen to come upon this Food Truck by accident and I am glad I did. I am visiting from out of state and wanted a quick bite to eat. Brazilian Steak sandwich for lunch was awesome and made very well, I had the Picanha with fries. Just enough food to fill you up and the truck was clean and tidy. Sorry I forgot to take pics, but the menu pics pretty much captures it all. Worth the stop and down the path...
