Wish I could give them more that 5 stars after multiple visits and takeout orders. This is one of our favorite Thai restaurants. I love that they have a separate vegan menu with way more choices than any other restaurant. I'm not vegan, but I like the option and have found many wonderful items such as the eggplant basil stir fry, veggie spring rolls, and vegetable noodle soup. Everything they make is homemade including the sauces. There are no store bought sauces with added preservatives. They cook healthy and with lots of fresh veggies even in the regular menu items. They also don't skimp on the heat level. If you ask for it, you'll get it at whatever level you want. My husband absolutely loves the "Thai Hot" spice level here because it's not the Americanized version. They use fresh jalapeno and chili peppers, and it's not just a ground chili pepper spice to make it hot for the sake of being hot. It's tasty too. He was actually the first person to recommend this restaurant to me when it opened back in 2017. We've been going there ever since that time.
We've been to all the other Thai restaurants in the area. They are all unique in their own way. I just like this one the best because the food is so comforting as well. Speaking of comforting, the Thai noodle soups are so good here. I find myself ordering it more often when it's cold out, or when I'm not feeling well. The pork noodle soup has 4 different noodle options (small rice noodles, large rice noodles, yellow egg noodles, or clear bean noodles) and the veggie one has 3 types (no egg noodles). I usually get the clear bean noodles with a medium spice level. The takeout soup orders come with additional chili pepper spice, paste, and pickled jalapenos. It's a huge portion that can definitely be 2 meals or split between 2 people. It's always good, and reminds me of the Sunday market at Wat Mongkolratanaram. I'm so happy that I can get it Tuesday thru Sunday when needed. It's great that they also have exotic iced teas such as Roselle Hibiscus, Butterfly Pea Flower, and Lemongrass tea. They are very refreshing as well as their Thai tea.
This restaurant gets better and better each time. It's a wonderful and hard-working family that owns it. They cook with love and health in mind. The service is always friendly and welcoming. They remember us every time we come in (especially my mother). We'll continue to...
Read morePeople complaining about the decor needing an update are completely clueless prima donnas who’ve never set foot in an actual Greek diner like we have up north in New York/New Jersey. I have lived in this area for decades, and true Greek diner experiences are very, very hard to come by. This place is it! I finally found the real deal! Reviewing the A&G is difficult for me because while I want them to be very successful, and they deserve be, it also would be sad if I have to wait in line for a table! Right now as I type this, there weren’t many people in there, and while that may be how I like it, I’m sure it’s not good for business. I can’t figure out why they aren’t busier, being that everything my fiancé and I just ate for lunch was amazing, and their staff is super nice and friendly, but for now I wont complain over their low key atmosphere.
Our waiter was fantastic, but I don’t know his name. When the owner came out and asked everyone how everything tastes, I gave it the chef’s kiss! The Rueben was delicious, the Spinach Pie was amazing, their Greek soup was top notch, and their homemade fried potato chips were off the charts! I will be back every week, now, maybe twice because their prices were so reasonable.
Come try this place out if you’re looking for that Greek diner experience like I have been, and if you’ve never been to a Greek diner, but you’re unsure or intimidated, don’t be. It’s just like a regular diner, just with excellent, amazing food! Five five five stars all the way! Can’t wait...
Read moreI was extremely disappointed with this place, especially with all of the 5 star reviews. My family and I have never eaten here and this will be the only time we ever order from there again. All these reviews saying the same thing about how authentic it is have either never had authentic Thai food or are all a bunch of bot accounts that were bought to boost their raising. I ordered the red curry, spicy, with beef. It was 75 percent bambooshoots. Barely any meat. The beef was rubbery. The curry was not red, it was yellow and extremely watered down. The curry wasn't creamy or rich or flavorful. Very bland and watery. My wife and sister both ordered pad See ew and both orders went straight in the trash. We spent 48 dollars on food we couldn't force ourselves to eat. I tried to power through the curry because I don't like to waste food but all it was, was white rice, watery, thin, curry, and rubbery beef. Neither of us ate the food and as I'm writing this review, my wife went back out to order food. I'm Puerto Rican and I make a better Pad See Ew than this place. Maybe it was rushed, maybe it was from the day before, maybe they changed cooks or the recipes since they got all these 5 star reviews but anyone that gave that place a 5 stars has never...
