McDonald's — Restaurant in Brandon

June 20,2020 Ordered at McD's drive thru today. Husband wanted filet o fish. I ended up being there at least 55 minutes because of the long wait and them getting my order wrong so I had to go through the drive thru twice. The manager did sincerely apologize, which I really appreciated. We did receive an apple pie free. Everyone was really nice and I did get a little aggravated because I was tired and wanted to get home. I did not take being annoyed out on the workers there. I have worked fast food - things happen and its not the easiest job. Be nice to fast food workers, even if they get your order wrong!They did get things fixed for me. Thank you for that. We have lived in this area for the past 9 years and this has been our MickieD's. Needless to say we have eaten here alot. I just can't see going back again after this last visit. McDonald's @ Crossgates (Brandon, MS) took 15 minutes to acknowledge me, when I was the only customer in the store, and I was leaning intently on the counter. Simple order: 1 hot coffee, 1 large fries; fries came after 15 more minutes, server didn't realize no one had brought me the coffee. Workers wasted time another 5 minutes after that, mostly looking for "him" (probably the dull White guy who took my order, although he was in plain sight from where I was standing -- and he and I were the only White people visible to me in the restaurant); the other workers then informed me they were out of coffee and had no filters with which to make more. The refund took almost 15 further minutes to process. Almost an hour wasted.

McDonald's @ Riverwind (Pearl, MS), same night as above: 1 hot coffee took 35 minutes to get in the drive-through.

Today is MARCH 20th of 2025 around 10:06pm!! ( Just in case you need to figure out exactly who was in charge and on shift this night!!) 9:16PM, Line wrapped around the building MEANWHILE the whole team standing in the lobby, talking and laughing with one another why we, the people, wait over AN HOUR TO GET OUR ORDERS EVEN TOOK! Then what makes matters WORSE FOOD WAS absolute not fresh, fries stale, sandwich dry and warm THATS IT! Horrible services, woman caught an unwarranted attitude and honestly it’s not a good look or taste for the McDonald company. I’m getting a refund! FOOD WAS ASS.
