We came here after a disappointing experience with chateau elan. We pulled this place up and it seemed cute and quaint. We came in and sat ourselves (there was a sign at the bar stating to do this). We sat closest to the bar opening so the bartender wouldnt have to walk so far since we were going to be getting a couple rounds of drinks and food. We sat and waited 6 minutes before being greeted while there was only 11 people in the resturant. The bartender finally came over to the table and we were super excited to order some of the craft cocktail drinks. She took my husband's drink order since I was a little indecisive on which one I wanted first. It took over 8 minutes for the drink to come to the table. I ordered a spicy Paloma and proceeded to wait another ten minutes before it came. We ended up ordering food to go since we were kind of disappointed with the service and didn't want to wait another 15 min for drinks. It took 35 minutes for the kitchen to make 2 sandwiches and there was no other food being ordered or made. My spicy Paloma was just heat, no other flavors, which was incredibly disappointing. As we were waiting for our food, my husband finished off his drink while mine sat full the entire time we waited and the bartender never came back to ask if he would like another one or what the issue was with mine. We were finally able to grab the check and received our food. Once we paid and left we saw the size of the sandwiches given to us. Pictured below is the same sandwich a year ago and the one we received. Once we were able to eat the food we waited so long for, we discovered the chicken used was precooked and bland. This just adds to the irritation on why it took so long. Incredibly disappointed considering how excited we were. The cherry on top of this experience was the owner/ manager who seemed more interested in cutting up with a couple at the bar and letting her underage daughter sit at the bartop with her boyfriend and friend than ensuring quality guest experience and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered the Ham Melt and it was not very good at all. First it was a bit old. It looked, felt and tasted like it was made some time before I got there. It was also a very dry and boring sandwich. At least put some mayo or something on it. It was just bread, ham and cheese. Thatās all. As far as atmosphere, I didnāt notice any. I walked in and it had a cold feeling( not temp). Didnāt really feel very friendly at all. There are definitely better places to eat around there.
Update: They responded, dishonestly, stating that the Ham Melt has been off the menu for some time and that is not true. I went and looked and it is very much still on your menu. I checked just now and saw it. It also says nothing about it being just ham and cheese. It only gives me a menu of sides to order with it. I wouldnāt have known to order it if I didnāt see it on the menu. This was my first time...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWalked in and sat down. Waited for 7 mins for the bartender to finish talking with her friends at the bar. Overheard her say ālet me go see what they wantā well, we wanted drinks and food. Should have just walked out then. Got a coke which tasted weird. Then ordered food (took 20 mins) it was just me and my wife and the bartenders friends at the bar. Sandwich showed up and it looked like a microwaved lunchable š. Food was overpriced, was rubbery and cheap. Just donāt go here for any reason unless youāre only getting alcohol (which we didnāt try). I think the bartender was a single mother the way she was talking and telling stories. Not surprised lmao. (She was openly talking about hooking up with...
