I stopped here on a road trip and ordered a simple burrito with rice, grilled chicken and guacamole only. The waiter was extremely friendly and the chips and salsa were really good. The bathroom was clean, but the floors were so slippery that my two-year-old almost fell 3 times just walking. The burrito came out fast, but tasted like everything was burnt. I opened it up and there were huge chunks of black overcooked burnt food. It was also incredibly small compared to every other Mexican restaurant I’ve been to. I showed the waiter and he gladly said that he would have them remake it. I got the burrito back and I opened it up just to eat the inside with my two year-old, like we always do… And the burrito had the most minuscule amount of rice in it, literally maybe 2 tablespoons. It was really odd. So I had to ask the waiter to fix that as well. He went ahead and brought out a side of rice. I don’t know why that wasn’t putting the burrito just a few minutes prior. Super odd experience. The new rice was OK but the second bit of chicken in the burrito had the weirdest aftertaste and just tasted off! I asked the way to please take the burrito off and just to charge for a side of rice. I left a tip equaling what I would have paid for the burrito in the first place. Because the waiter handled the kitchen mistakes very well. I do not recommend this place based off of my experience. It was a waste of one hour of my time And we only ate a Bit of mediocre, definitely not authentic...
Read moreOur dinner was horrible. The food wasn't good and, the prices were different on boards in the restaurant versus the menus. The beans tasted like a can at a store. The sour cream tasted like Daisy. It really tasted like when we make food at home for far cheaper. On top of the poor taste, my husband's taco was in pieces when it was brought out. We ordered cheese on our rice, and it didn't have any. My husband ordered a super burrito, and it had nothing on it. We asked for our burritos with cheese, and they barely had any. The worst part was our service though. We had three different servers which was odd but OK. Our final server was a girl who sat on her phone across the restaurant and only checked on us when I went up to her to tell her our food was wrong. She then argued it wasn't, and she finally came back to our table. It was then fixed in great timing. Again, to be able to get out check, we had to get up and go to her. We paid cash and asked for change. She proceeded to argue that we didn't need change after we asked. We gave her $40 for our $36 check and said we needed our change and would leave the tip on the table. She then took the money and said we didn't need change. It was about a 2 minute verbal exchange in order to get the remainder of our money despite telling her the tip was on the table. Overall, it was a horrible experience. We left hungry and having overpaid for the food...
Read moreThis was our first time visiting and will definitely will be our last! They do not have any booths to accommodate 4 adults and two small children, but no problem we all crammed in as tight as we could to try to make it work. The service was beyond horrible. Our server never came to check on us while we waited what seemed like forever for our food. Our glasses were all empty, we had no chips until finally we flagged down another employee. We placed an order for our 3 year old to come out early to keep him occupied. Our entire order came and he still did not have his food. When we inquired the second time, we were told that his order was given to another table earlier so he would have to wait. Two of our meals ... "Hacienda Bowl" came out barely warm. The chicken looked like it had been reheated several times. When I mentioned the food was cold, they took the two plates to the back and microwaved them because the sour cream and pico that were on the top of the food were now blazing hot. Disgusting! Do yourself a favor and pick another mexican restaurant in the area, ANY other one and you will be glad you did. They deserve...
