Late lunch time on a Wednesday. I only went because they are literally across the street from Brattleboro Ford and I was waiting for my truck to be Serviced. And there's even a crosswalk between the two places! So 2 stars for being super convenient and having a nice, large, comfortable bar. Had a gin and Tonic. Which came in a pint glass. Not all alcoholic beverages should come in pint glasses. Problem with this is all the carbonation from the Tonic escapes and you're drinking a flat, watery beverage. Which is not delightful. Then I ordered the eggplant parm app. Was psyched they had it as an app. Solidly meh. Lacked flavor and seasoning. Like all the components lacked flavor even after I doused it with red pepper flake. Got the Caesar Salad. Their dressing to lettuce ratio appears to be 2:1. So half the salad was inedible. Two women were sitting at the other end of the bar and playing some sort of rolled up paper basketball game with the bartender and actually SCREAMING every time someone threw the wadded up paper. Which was, in a word, awful. Also the fact that it didn't occur to the bartender that SCREAMING in a restaurant, if you're over the age of 2, should definitely be discouraged. Really bad vibe/atmosphere. Then I went to leave. There are double glass doors you enter and exit through. I didn't notice on the way in b/c it's much brighter outside than inside. But facing out towards the sunlight I could see there wasn't even a single square inch of clean glass on either of those doors. I should have taken a pic, but I was borderline panicking trying to think if it was safe to touch ANY part of that door to get out...IRONICALLY there's a big, printed sign in the middle of the filthy glass door announcing how they're keeping everything clean and safe... I'm going to go out on a limb and say the people there don't give a d*** judging from the bartender encouraging ridiculous and loud behavior and no one even considering cleaning those doors. Maybe the pizzas and calzones are okay? Maybe you should only get take out?

We normally eat here, but tonight we received our pizza and it was cold and congealed. We ordered large pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms all over and half with onions and peppers. There were eight pieces of pepper thin sliced from a slicer about 1" long and just a little more of the onion. I called hoping for just apology and what I received was more excuses than peppers. I sent a picture of the pizza and his statement was. "Well I see tons of peppers." Just look at the photo there are hardly any peppers. Ridiculous, why would you say that to a regular customer. Just apologize and be done. His name is Vito, because of this we will certainly not return and we will tell others that we know not to go. Lost a good customer

I cannot say enough great things about the entire experience that we had at this establishment! We were traveling through the area and decided to check this place out; and, boy oh boy, am I happy that we did! The staff is incredibly kind, funny, and extremely personable! That is a challenge to find now days! I mean, even the kitchen staff greeted us with smiles and sent us on our way with kind wishes! In my 20 years of customer service jobs, I've never come across such a sweet staff! The cherry on top was the food we got was delicious! That Thai Chili pizza was delectable, all the deserts we shared were rich and decadent, and the salad was crisp and fresh! I mean, you seriously cannot go wrong!

I ordered delivery from here. When I first called, the first person I spoke to had no idea about if they even delivered, and didnt tell me, instead just calling out to other people around him. A different person then started talking to me about the order like none of it had happened, however it took her 5 minutes to put in "ravioli without sauce." As someone whos been on that side, I understand not knowing if you are knew to the job, however it is essential that if you do not know something or its going to take a little longer, to tell the customer. This is how Karens are made. Whenever I was put in that situation "Im sorry, Im new at the computer, give me a minute to find someone who can help me put your order in." I have never had a job that has not told me to tell customers if I am new as well. The menus online, once we managed to find them; were inconsistant with prices. The ravioli was 13.99 and came with one garlic knot on one menu, and 15.99 without on another. Desserts had no price. One menu also said they had green olives for pizza/calzones, however when we ordered they told me they only had black olives. Their dessert menu had 4 items, only 2 of which they had, and they had another dessert item not on the menu at all. The total ended up being $51 for 2 people eating, (kids chicken/fries, ravioli no sauce, calzone, and 2 desserts) which is a little much and usually implies better food and service. My roommate only ate one bite of the calzone, and I had chicken tenders and fries which i ate about 1/3 of (more because I didnt have anything better to eat, but they somehow messed both of those up) The ravioli i ordered came with sauce, even though I was clear that I didnt want any sauce. They could not bring me a new one because of my location (this is true of most delivery places where I am) but they didnt have a manager there so they could not issue a refund. They were going to call me back the next morning when the manager came in. Nobody called me back, and when I called them they told me they could give me a free ravioli with my next order, and when I asked for a refund "our general manager isnt in until next week monday" (a week from tomorrow) and hes the only one who knew how to issue a refund. The 3 jobs ive had in customer service, every employee knew how to issue a refund, they just needed a manager or supervisor's approval. This is because its not uncommon for mistakes to happen and refunds needed.

summary: Nice staff. they had the order mostly right. Food was not worth the price. They need to hire someone with basic managing skills to organize menus. They need to teach their staff how to do work in...

$21.95 for Shrimp Scampi. 4 medium sized shrimp in the entire order. I swear to God! 4 medium sized shrimp....The tomatoes were unripe green/yellow blanched and the 4 shrimp were tough and chewy over cooked. It came with one gewy garlic knot that was basically raw dough. Health dept. Would be all over that knot!!! It was the consistency of pizza dough ball before you cook it. Couldn't eat the knot. The vermicelli was over cooked as well. There was a Second raw garlic knot in the eggplant parm. The eggplant was better but nothing special for $11.00. Starter... it wasn't the meal 11.00$ was for the eggplant Appetizer. Eggplant was good but is it because it was the only thing edible in my entire order???. The garden salad was disgusting black edged lettuce? ? Really. WTH!! Unripe tomatoes again, hard no taste. The best thing about the entire trip,( other than writing this scathing review), was the lovely woman that waited on me at the counter. She was marvelous. I feel bad associating her with this review as she was the best thing about the entire experience. she was amazing, sweet and on top of what I needed. She really was the only really positive part of the entire experience. Do not waste your money. Almost 39$ for a piece of egg plant.. Should have gone to the pizza place across the street but the gas station Ramuntos in Waterbury was always awesome so I went with the name. Brattleboro Ramuntos esthetically the place looks nice it has a nice bar, outside seats... bad food. Pizza on display was white doughy looked undercooked... is this a new style of Italian dough, "Under cooked"..I don't understand??..... I was so excited for the Ramuntos I know.... Not even close, no way they are the same owners.... I'm so disappointed. Maybe it's Because I didnt drink before I ate and was sober enough to realize the dough was raw and the shrimp were tough and few?? Please consider McDonald's or Burger King and their chicken parm before eating or wasting your money...
