Walgreens — Local services in Brattleboro

2 stars, going ONLY to the main pharmacist & pharmacy techs that have held this pharmacy down since Walgreens bought out the Rite Aide & decimated the resources NECESSARY to effectively run a pharmacy. The lack of care shown by Walgreens management & corporate towards their own Pharmacy staff is atrocious. Corporate just piles work on the pharmacy staff & does not adequately staff the pharmacy. Corporate cuts hours & closes the store at a whim & has been unable to figure out a solution. This results in customers not getting their medication as needed, which results in upset customers & the pharmacy staff end up getting disrespected constantly. So, 2 stars & extreme raises for your PHARMACY staff who have dealt with this since Walgreens got greedy with the money & said F the customers. Also - Walgreens corporation is actively funding Insurrectionist members of Congress, therefore I can no longer continue to use this pharmacy. Stuck with it through all this 'transition' - Cutting weekend pharmacy hours, to then cutting pharmacy hours to M-F 10-6 - but, the corporations support of traitors to...

Visiting the Brattleboro, VT area for Christmas vacation 2022 and my 12 year old son was diagnosed with the flu. Our major worry was his asthmatic/reactive airways which could lead to pneumonia & required Albuterol via nebulizer but we were running low. Unfortunately the urgent care doctor prescribed the wrong dosage and although the pharmacist Marie could not substitute the higher adult dose of Albuterol in stock, Trish was super attentive and kind enough to call me the exact moment the updated prescription came in and filled it 5 minutes afterwards. Above and beyond caring within Trish's power and Jess was kind enough to locate it and quickly have me on my way to help my son with a smile. Lovely team of caring ladies behind the Walgreens' pharmacy counter on 896 Putney Rd. The team displayed true kindness for an out-of-towner in distress! Just ask the team kindly for help and these great professionals will come to your rescue with a smile! Special thanks to Trish, Marie and Jess for providing exceptional VT...

FILL YOUR MEDS WEEKS EARLY.. I've consistently fir years been messed around with this pharmacy I've been days..weeks without insulin and other medications that sre detrimental to living a healthy safe life. They run out they take DAYS to fill and dint at all be surprised when you get a text your meds are ready only to go n find out they decided to go home early... and not come back for days.. then you'll be scrambling to the other Walgreens which is closing due to lawsuits... and then uyour insurance has ty get involved smh both Walgreens such I've been there 5 years...weekly meds and STILL they are never prepared or hardly ever they're. I wanna change but so many of us want to and the other Walgreens will be closing in afraid were all gonna flood out the very few pharmacies we have.. if you can hero it.. go ty Walmart...anywhere but Walgreens your likely to die waiting on meds u desperately...
