i ordered a heart shaped pizza yesterday around 6:00 pm with a promised time of the 19-29 minutes. i got there at around 6:30pm to a store full of pretty upset looking people. they called out my name and got my pizza and left. halfway to the car, i realized i was given the wrong order. i go back and it turns out they gave my someone else’s order with the same name. the lady at the front promised my order was being made and it would take another 20-30 mins. okay, so i wait. meanwhile, i witnessed some pretty bad customer service. a man came up to me and said he had been waiting over 2 hours for his order. another lady said she ordered her pizza at 9am to pick it up at 6:30 and when she got there, it hadn’t been made so she had to wait additional 30-40 mins. the phones had been ringing nonstop so one of the workers ended up disconnecting them. after about an hour, i figured out that 1. they were backed up about 1hr or 1hr 30mins. meaning if you placed your order at 6pm, you wouldn’t be getting it until 8pm. 2. they were lying to people saying an order had to be put through the oven and to give them 15 more mins but that was a lie since people would come back and the lady would say the same thing again. 3. the workers in the back were taking their sweet time even with customers out the door. all of this without apologies or sense of urgency. the lady at the front had to leave her post multiple times to help the workers at the back who were working at a very slow pace. also, the man whose order i was given mistakenly ended up coming in and when he asked about his order, the lady LIED and said she didn’t see it back there and that he would have to wait more time for his order to be made because apparently he made a mistake in his order and had supposedly ordered for takeout when his receipt showed he ordered it for delivery and they didn’t own up to their mistake of giving his order to the wrong person and not checking last names. eventually, i asked how long it would be to get my pizza and i was given the same line of “it needs to go thru the oven” which meant another hour wait so i asked for a refund and left. when i asked for a refund, even the lady said “yea no it would’ve been another hour wait”. i wasn’t mad but felt bad as i’m sure they were disorganized + short staffed but just hire more people...
Read moreFirst time, last time? I am from out of town and got a pizza and churros delivered to my hotel. I chose to do an online order. I put instructions in 2 fields for them to bring paper plates, napkins, parm and pepper flakes. I also had a sauce for the dessert. None of that was delivered for over a 50$ order. They use Door Dash as their delivery person so the pizza and desert arrived cold. I called and asked for a manager but no one was available. I was pleasant with the person I spoke with and asked that they do better. ln our conversation, I was informed they don’t have enough in-house staff to deliver their product. Beware of their service as it was quite disappointing! Regardless of who delivers the product, it’s their name on the box the overall experience reflects on that name. No accountability from them.
2 things to improve. Call me and let me know you’re out of sauce if it’s on the order. Inform your customers online that your delivery person may be a 3rd party. Had I known Door Dash was involved, or any 3rd party, I would not have ordered.
Bottom line, better communication and better service would have been appreciated.
It’s a shame because the “McKinley” pizza, although cold, was actually quite tasty and enjoyable! Same with the churros. Mountain Mikes missed an opportunity to deliver their best tonight and would have me as a loyal customer next time I’m in the area.
Maybe this could be avoided if you call in an order? I hope they do better for their local customers...

I call the location about 5 times. No answer. I then have to leave my hungry Valentines date who I was trying to surprise and drive 20 minutes to the location to see what was going on. When I arrived, there was another upset customer who also didn’t get their pizza. The employees said that they had two drivers not show up and that the owner, Raj, was supposed to call customers telling them their orders could not be processed. That didn’t happen. He offered to refund my money and I’m hoping that happens. I was given Raj’s number to voice my concerns. Completely ruined my night. Incredibly unacceptable for this to happen.
