⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ OVERDUE review! We’ve been longtime fans of Our Nest in Fullerton (my parents live across the street and go often), so we were thrilled when they opened in Brea—right next door to me and my husband! This new location is such a gem: beautiful remodel, airy indoor-outdoor patio, a full bar AND a coffee bar. It’s an elevated experience while still keeping that cozy, wholesome coffeehouse vibe. Visit #1: I started with an espresso martini (SO good) and the Our Brea Toast—their avocado toast is on a whole other level. The lemon dressing with radish and cucumber? 🤤 Fresh, bright, and super filling. Left me energized for the day! Service was excellent—staff is helpful, friendly, and you can even spot the owners working hands-on, cooking, and serving. Always a good sign when ownership is that involved. Visit #2 (brought the whole fam!): I had the Reina specialty coffee (a Mexican latte vibe)—beautiful presentation, not overly sweet, rich in flavor. My husband ordered The Joey Mainland Moco (basically a breakfast burger in a bowl)—so hearty and flavorful, and that bacon relish is 👌🏼 chef’s kiss. Dad went with the Carnitas Avocado Toast—absolutely massive portion, and judging by his smile, it was a hit. Mom tried the Our Brea Toast—she loved the combo of lemon-dressed arugula, radish, cucumber, and feta. Fresh and balanced. Overall, Our Nest Brea is already a favorite. I went for dinner and felt what I ordered could have been improved upon. My Ice tea was $5 and I had to ask for lemon and then had no stevia. My corn chowder had good flavor , but not considered a chowder in my opinion.. There were a few kennels of corn on top with bacon along with some thinly sliced potatoes. Chowder was lukewarm and needed to be piping hot. It would’ve been nice if some whole-grain brown bread or a French roll had been served with it, but there was none.. My friend’s pasta was $25 dollars and did not highlight the flavors as stated on the menu. It was swimming in olive oil and luke warm. The chef and owner was quite kind and hardworking . It has been opened since July 25,2025. Servers need to be educated in wine service and wines. My chowder was luke warm and was served with a small spoon and not a soup spoon. The restaurant is attempting a fine dining feel with its menu in a causal setting . Being a brand new restaurant, details matters and small nuances bring the idea of elegance home. The owner and chef is very personable and seeks to please his guests . He clearly has vision and talent. The staff seeks to please. My only suggestion is that they tighten up meal presentation, make certain food is hot and menu descriptions are reflected in the entree. I will certainly come back to...

We had an incredible experience dining at Our Nest in Brea! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was beautiful—airy, moody, and inviting. The service was excellent, and the food exceeded every expectation.

We started with the Parmesan tallow fries, which had the perfect crunch, and the Berry Burrata paired with prosciutto and berry spread—absolutely delicious. For our entrée, we shared the 16oz dry aged New York steak with Yukon gold potatoes and veggies. The flavors were outstanding, especially with the chimichurri. Our kids enjoyed the Italian Stallion sandwich with Parmesan focaccia and homemade cheese sauce was excellent for dipping fries in! , they also devoured the creamy bacon mac & cheese.

Dessert was mind blowing: the bread pudding tasted like the center of a cinnamon roll, served warm with Rich Farms vanilla ice cream and dulce de leche caramel sauce.... no words. Every bite of our meal was outstanding—we didn’t leave a single crumb! One of the owners JonPaul went up to every table, greeted everyone and shared recommendations, details on preparation of dishes and made sure everyone was happy with their meals a true class act and master at culinary craft!
