Absolutely the worst experience Iāve had in years. My trained service dog has been welcomed without issue at hotels, restaurants, and patios everywhere ā yet at Bierstube in Brea, the so-called āmanagerā Linda decided to make it her mission to ruin my Sunday.
I was denied the simple right to sit outside on the patio with my dog, while at the exact same time other customers were sitting there with their dogs. When I questioned the inconsistency, Linda started interrogating me, throwing every excuse she could think of, and ultimately told me my dog was not welcome. Her tone was degrading, discriminatory, and completely unprofessional.
We left feeling humiliated, disrespected, and discriminated against. For a place that pretends to be welcoming, this is nothing more than a third-rate establishment with a manager who abuses her position to mistreat customers.
If you value respect, fairness, or even basic decency ā avoid this place. There are plenty of restaurants that know how to treat people (and service animals)...

I was looking for a German restaurant so I could have so food that my Grandmother (Oma) used to make. I did a little research and decided on this place.
First off this place is more than a restaurant, it is also a beer garden, a hall and the home of the Pheonix club.
I ordered the chicken schnitzel with fried potatoes and red cabbage and the beef goulash. The beef goulash was very savory and beef fell apart . The goulash came with a roll and butter, I think it was my favorite thing about the meal. The chicken schnitzel was tasty, nice and crispy, it came with a bacon gravy that wasnt very good. The red cabbage was not very good. Potatoes were OK. I am glad that I went, but I will probably not be back.
Also the waitress and host/barback were very knowledgeable about the food and were very friendly. I asked for lemon when ordering, I didn't get them when my food came, I wasn't going to ask but the waitress noticed and brought them out for me. I...

Now they are in Brea so letās say Phoenix #3. There is a poetic story that can be found in that history. Well thatās the story I was told visiting today. Our visit was long over due. The beer was soooo good on such a beautiful so cal day. Wifey and I loved the patio area. We ordered a pretzel which had plenty of salt. A little too much for me but real easy to brush off a bit. Wifey really enjoyed her chicken schnitzel. The fries are coated seasoned and pair well with beer. The sausage platter was ok. I had the smoked brat and spicy sausage. No regrets at all. The German potato salad is a must have as your side. Donāt mess around with that. Overall we loved our meal and the service was attentive and very welcoming. We will be...
