First time visiting, and will unfortunately be my last. The saving grace is the food. The food was legitimately delicious: recommend the loaded nachos, chicken fingers, steak sandwich and french fries because they were all amazing dishes that were cooked to perfection. However, most other aspects of the meal were subpar. They had a good beer selection, but the cocktails weren't great. I ordered one and had to send it back after me and 6 of my friends tasted it and voted it to be undrinkable (it was the blue one). My friend got a margarita that tasted like the bottled mix from our aunt's basement with half a shot of tequila added. Didn't even salt the rim to balance out the sweet/sour flavor of the mix. The service was hit-or-miss. The server took everybody's food order except for one person; he had to wait until she came back later to order his food. Then his food came out 15 minutes before anyone else's food. Finally, the atmosphere was reminiscent of a local concert with a too-loud sound system, but a band wasn't playing. It was just the music they were piping in. It was difficult to carry a conversation with the person sitting next to me. Strange experience overall, maybe it would be good for takeout.

I have never had better wings in my life! Thin and crisp breading, great flavor sauces, and served to perfection! I also had a sandwich and ipa, everything was excellent- taste, presentation, price, and good customer service! The place has a really fun and comfortable vibe. I’ll definitely be back and recommend to others.

Cool place. But charging $5 to get in is stupid when no live music is playing. Almost thought it was a joke lol. Bartenders messed up 4 of our drinks but they’re busy and cool so not rating for that

I have been coming to this establishment for almost 20+ years now. So much So, that me and my group are known regulars at this location. Today, is a day that I never thought I would see happen. My most favorite establishment, not only had very bad service, but the food was just not the same. I was told that the cooks were new and not the same old cooks. I don't know what its going to take, but either the new cooks need to step it up, or I will no longer be supporting a business that I have loved and treasured for more than a decade. I will miss those savory Mango Habanero Wings and Long Island Ice Tea Combo I normally get, however, nothing taste the same. Also service is just not what it should have been. Maybe it was just today, but that plus lackluster food, has truly put a damper into how I feel about everything.

UPDATE: This place has become the epitome of horrible dine-in experience. Since my first review I have tried to love my childhood spot 3 times over. I just can't. The way this place is ran now is absolutely degraded from what I remember. Since the cooks have been switched the food has been sub-par at best. And after today, being charged 2.50 for Pizza Sauce to be added to my pizza, which should already come with pizza sauce, is by far the final straw for me. Horrible Food, New Waiters, and a kitchen staff that can't get it right, has allowed me to make my decision of never returning here. I know that more people will come and I am just a single customer amongst many, however, it is sad to see such a iconic restaurant in my life, become a shell of its former self. Horrible Horrible experience, which seems to be the new trend for this...

I live in the area and my fiance and I come in there to eat or pick up food on a regular basis. never had anything bad from there. chicken wrap is the best. however. after my most recent experience there, I will not be going back. came here for my friend's birthday party. we walked in, and it was packed, so we went out to the patio and sat down. we were planning to order drinks and a pizza or some type of food. I brought her here, because like I said, they have delicious food. we watched 4 different waitresses walk past us. not saying a word. we had no drinks, so clearly we were waiting to be helped. we order a few beers and the waitress tells me $10. she comes back with a credit card receipt totaling $12. I want to know where the extra $2 came from, and if she would have just pocketed the cash I gave her instead of ringing it through the register. also, it took her 10 minutes to bring drinks, and another 10 to bring back my credit card. we left immediately and went to durbins, where we were greeted by friendly faces who all wanted to make our night wonderful.

so disappointed that they have such poor service. it was never really that great, but I could deal because of the quality of food. however, I don't think I will continue to spend my money in an establishment that doesn't treat their customers well or with the respect that...

I’ve been to Holstein’s several times over the years, and unfortunately, each experience has been consistently uncomfortable. While I want to make it clear that the employees themselves are great—this review isn’t about the staff—the overall atmosphere is what makes this place hard to recommend, especially after 11 PM.

The environment often feels chaotic and, frankly, unsafe. On multiple occasions, I’ve witnessed or experienced behavior that crossed the line—people being overly aggressive, confrontational, or disrespectful. There have been nights where I genuinely didn’t feel comfortable staying.

Most concerning was a recent visit where, almost immediately after entering—right past security—one extremely intoxicated individual reached out to touch my girlfriend and the other women we were with. That kind of behavior is unacceptable anywhere, and it left me feeling on edge from the moment we arrived.

I’ve been to many bars over the years, and while a rowdy crowd is nothing new, Holstein’s has repeatedly made me feel uneasy. It’s unfortunate because with the right crowd management and oversight, this could be a much more enjoyable and safe place to be.

Until those changes are made, I won’t...
