AWFUL. Just awful. My friend and I went tonight for drinks and food after work. We ordered a the burrata pizza dip (just ok) the burrata bruschetta flatbread (decent) and some bratwurst flatbread with beer cheese, pickled onions, and brussels sprouts flatbread (recommended by server). She brought us the sliders version of the bratwurst flatbread. She came back immediately and said ā€œyou ordered the flatbread didn’t youā€ we said yes. She apologized and said the flatbread would be a few minutes and asked if we still wanted it. Given that it was our original order that she raved about, we said yes. The sliders were already at at our table, and she asked if we’d like to keep them. Not thinking anything of it and knowing they’d be thrown away we said sure. We didn’t eat them but figured why not take them home. Long story short, upon checking out, THEY CHARGED US FOR THE SLIDERS! My friend and I said excuse me we didn’t order these this isn’t our mistake why are we paying for this? The waitress and what appeared to be a TERRIBLE manager looked at the paper menu we filled out and read off our order to us, which did NOT include the sliders. The ā€œmanagerā€ asked the waitress how could she possibly have given us sliders instead of the flatbread and the waitress said something about them being near each other in the system and said ā€œbut I asked and they said I could leave them on the table.ā€ I was like okay but again why am I paying for your mistake?! You handed us a box and never stated we would be paying for them! Would you believe that the ā€œmanagerā€ said there was nothing she could do AND MADE US PAY FOR THE SLIDERS THAT WE NEVER ORDERED?! Worst customer service I’ve truly ever experienced. I said if you go to a restaurant and they make a mistake do you expect to pay for that?! Those sliders were over $15!! We will NEVER go back there. I’m from the area and trust me, everyone I know will know how terrible this place is. I ended up paying (just me, not my friend) $95 for grossly overpriced wine, sub par food, oh and food I NEVER EVEN ORDERED! In what world is that okay?...

My first experience with Sip was an event I photographed with my company, and after trying their food I knew I had to come back to explore my different tastes for wine. I adore this place! I come here with different friends every time so they can experience it with me. I recently moved to Tinley knowing that I loved the downtown area, and Sip was on of the best reasons to move there (I live 4 minutes away now by coincidence...and luck lol).

For improvement, I highly recommend improving on the ordering experience a bit. It can be confusing to the servers who ordered what, and they work so hard! I hate to see them have any difficulty or incorrect orders as I'm sure it can be confusing. Maybe organizing the wines a bit better to find certain wines easier might be helpful.

I'm actually doing a project for my UX Design course to design an app for my favorite local restaurant, and chose Sip. I think an app would be handy for lots of ordering issues and wine tasting suggestions for their clientelle. However, it looks like I'm going to have to do a lot more "research" at Sip to help with my certification in the future lol....

I’m a Tinley Park local and completely disappointed and embarrassed in sip. I’ve brought multiple people from out of town to this little establishment that I do love when they can get things right. This is the second time that other parties drinks and food have been charged on my account and when we go to dispute the bill, it is always a huge ordeal to rectify or even have them ā€œinvestigate. ā€œ This is now a SECOND time and truly this is embarrassing. The last bill was over $40 of drinks and food that were charged on our bill that were for the group of ladies next to us. How crazy how something like this can happen when it’s a bracelet that you scan for each drink to charge your account….. my frustration is the way the staff and management has handled it. I’ve now asked to speak with the owner, Neil, multiple times with no response. I will not be bringing any business to this...

Me and my husband visits Sip wine in Tinley Park in March. We got a chance to meet the owner. Very nice gentle soul he conversated with us like we were family. I love the winery everybody is friendly there even the cashier Linda. A nice place to meet and greet and just have a family conversation with adults. The smiles are out of sight when you walk through the door. Will be visiting again May 20th at 6:30 I can't wait I'm bringing adult family with me. My family members will get a chance to experience except wine Bar and Restaurant. Will give you a further update on second visit. If you haven't visited sip wine in Tinley Park I suggest that you do so. You won't regret it.šŸ’Æā¤ļø

Outstanding selection of wines from all over the world; extremely friendly staff and owner made it for more pleasurable experience; a great place to go to with friends to kick back and relax, food menu was eclectic and had a wide variety of plates you would see at a downtown restaurant, sitting outside (covered patio) was spacious and pleasant, food was excellent, absolutely delicious ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I Way larger portions than expected, so it is great idea to share and enjoy more on the menu. Will come back again! Bravo, sip.wine baršŸ·

Went here for the first time for a glitter your pallet paint night. We arrived early so we could try the food and wine beforehand. It's a neat concept. Start a tab, get a keychain like bracelet that you use to select your wine or bourbon, and 3 sizes to choose from. You help yourself, so you never have to wait for a refill. The menu is large, but the food was quick and delicious. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. It was a nice atmosphere. We will definitely come back again.
