DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. So I placed an order and tried to redeem my free sandwich for doing the survey as promised on the receipt. I just the manager or should I say GENERAL MANAGER. I came through the drive thru, as usual. I ordered a McChicken and a McDouble for my kids. I gave them the receipt to redeem my free ANY SANDWICH as promised on the restaurant. I was told no it had to be a big sandwiches only a quarter pounder or a Big Mac. I said why is that all of a section. The cashier and the new manager both stated the GM said big sandwiches only. It’s a new policy. I replied that’s not what the receipt says and I’ve redeemed this promotion before. Again it’s our new policy said the manager. Ok, so I called corporate then I went into the store. I asked to speak with the GM the woman with the bald head replied I’m the GM. SHE WAS VERY HOSTILE AND RUDE, MOVING HER HANDS AS SHE SPOKE TO ME. I asked about the promotion and placed my receipt on the counter. She said what you want I don’t have time for this. We’re a franchise. I said I want a McChicken for my son and a McDouble no pickles for my daughter. She placed the order and proceeded to move back and fourth. I told her I’m not being rude to you so I would appreciate if I got the same in return. I explained I understand if she was tired of me redeeming the promotion because I had done it 3 times this week. I told her if she wanted me to limit the number of time redeemed my receipts, I would respect that but for her to lie and say it was only for big sandwich was kind of mean and unfair. She proceeded to say I have a full drive thru and I don’t have time for this. All while having a very hostile tone and continuing to move in a very threatening way. I was calm but assertive. I didn’t understand why she was so aggressive and upset at me for something that McDonalds clearly promotes at every location nationwide. The drive thru was empty I had just pulled from it. She then said I not about to argue as I got my food and walked out of the restaurant. I didn’t understand that because I was polite but I made my concern clear. I turned and said I was respectful to you and your disrespectful to customers. I didn’t yell so there was no need for the comment but I walked on to my car, where my children awaited there food. This women was black and about 6feet 190lbs bald fade and is always very rude, every time I come into this McDonalds. I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND ANYONE COMING TO THIS McDonald’s. IF THATS HOW THE GM TREATS CUSTOMERS SHE DESERVES TO BE FIRED. She was acting like she wanted to fight me instead of politely addressing my concern. On top of that she lied, to force me to spend more money that I didn’t have. I just took my kids shopping after school and was just grabbing the something to eat before dinner. THE GM MADE ME FEEL THREATENED WITH HER ATTITUDE AND BODY LANGUAGE. SHE WAS VERY IGNORANT FOR A GM ESPECIALLY THE WAY SHE HANDLED THE SITUATION. SHE DOESN’T DESERVE HER TITLE AND LITERALLY BECAUSE OF HER I GIVE 0 STARS TO THE ENTIRE RESTAURANT AND MY EXPERIENCES EVERY VISIT I HAVE TO HO INSIDE THE STORE. She really is setting a very low standard for her employees and had that been anyone else she would of gladly fired them. She’s a beautiful black women and I expected more from her. You must carry yourself with grace at all times. I hope her life gets better because there’s no excuse to be bitter everyday for no reason. I frequent this McDonalds at least 3x a week and she’s always upset and uptight for some reason. You work in customer service so service your customers, respectfully. Dear McDonald’s Corporate / Store Management,
I am writing to file an urgent complaint regarding a deeply upsetting experience I had at your location on July 25th, 2025 at 5:08 AM, at the McDonald’s located at 3010 West 159th Street, Markham, IL 60426 (Store #738). My order number was #29, placed through the drive-thru.
The female employee who took my order displayed extreme rudeness and unprofessional behavior that left me shocked and disturbed. She was short-tempered, abrasive, and handled the interaction with a clear attitude of hostility. Her tone was aggressive from the start, as if my presence inconvenienced her.
The situation escalated when she slammed the drive-thru window in my face without a word and then stormed off visibly angry, muttering what I could clearly hear were profanities in the background. I was left sitting in my car feeling disrespected, humiliated, and completely disregarded as a paying customer.
This is absolutely unacceptable. No one should be treated with such blatant disrespect—especially not at 5 AM when I simply came in for a meal on my way to work. I am beyond upset and feel this deserves immediate attention from management.
I am requesting a personal phone call from upper management or the franchise owner regarding this situation. I need assurance that this will be investigated and addressed seriously, not brushed off. I can be reached at:

Despite the severity of the situation—including a staff member slamming the drive-thru window in my face and cursing audibly in the background—I have not received any acknowledgment, apology, or follow-up from your team. This continued silence is unacceptable and only adds to the disrespect I experienced that morning.
As I stated in my original complaint, I am requesting a personal phone call from management or franchise leadership to discuss how this matter is being addressed. I want to ensure that this behavior is not being tolerated and that no other customer will be treated in such a demeaning way.

Read moreDisgusting went in there yesterday. I figured i would use the bathroom first. So i walked into the men's, and legit was poop everywhere. The toilet was backed up to the point where the urinal was surrounded by poop from the other toilet.I guess these things happen, but it gets worse. When I came in, there was an employee sitting down probably on her break right next to the bathroom. I couldn't even use the men's, so I walked out and told her you should see what's happening there. Now I had to go pretty bad, so legit, I opened the woman's stall and asked if anyone was in there. No one was, so I went in the woman's. Almost just as filthy with the exception of overflowing toilets..it was just trashed.. i will never, and I mean never eat at this McDonald's because if that's how the manager on duty handles the restaurant, not even going to chance it.. the only possible good thing in this review is the the woman I told who might have been on break wasn't there when I came out of the woman's bathroom so maybe someine was told about it and they are doing something.
