Peeples Taco's 2 — Restaurant in Bremen Township

A friend treated us to Tacos for lunch and I had a veggie and a chicken. When I first seen the order I was looking for sauce. I reluctantly took a bite without it and to my surprise, they were delicious!!! They were so yummy that I decided to come back for a couple of more for dinner....

According to the menu, see attached the veggie tacos are listed as $3.00..Y'all do see that right??? When I got my receipt it's listed as 3 @ $4.50.

I questioned it as the Jerk taco is also listed as $4.50, in which I purchased as well. I brought it to the cashier's attention and he excused himself to go to the back to talk to the owner, I guess someone with authority?!?!

She told him that that's the price; I stated that it was false advertisement according to their own menu listed on the wall as well as the counter. The "owner" then loudly stated "it's not false advertisement, the prices has changed!!!" OK young lady, change the menu prices to reflect that.. .. the atmosphere became hostile...

Y'all tell me why our people as business owners can't take constructive criticism that will benefit them?

She doesn't know now, but I guess she'll find out, she just lost one!! ✌🏾

I would've given this establishment 5-stars but her nasty disposition blew...

I had high hopes, but was left unimpressed. Ordered soft shell tacos— steak and beef. While the actual shells themselves were tasty, the beef and steak tacos lacked flavor. They both tended towards the greasy side and the cheese and meats were on the sparse side. I did ask for the mild sauce on the steak taco, but either they forgot to add it, or the sauce itself did not add much to the flavor. I found both tacos hopelessly bland. It wasn’t just me, I ordered tacos for two others and we all had the same consensus. I wouldn’t characterize the tacos as bad per se, they just lacked seasoning in the meat. I would also add that the meat in the steak taco was pretty tough, and not tender at all. The decor and atmosphere of the establishment was good. The service was friendly but slow on food prep time. Given there were no other orders outside of ours, I would have expected a shorter wait to get the food. It took 15 minutes, they said about 8 minutes. Can’t say that I would rush to give them another try immediately, as of this writing they had only been open about a month and a half. Perhaps they are still working...

My client has been telling me Ab the location out west for the longest so I finally made it to this location. I have to say the tacos were decent but I wasn't blown away. I love authentic tacos but as a fan of tacos I also love home cooked tacos being that I was totally aware that this was black owned I was expecting something that I make at home. My disappointment was they don't have cilantro or any type of taco sauce just hot and mild sauce and I'm not a fan of regular cheese, sour cream, or lettuce on my tacos as I said I like them more authentic not Americanized. So I only had onion and tomato had I not asked for any sauce I would've been highly disappointed. They could do better w the fries they were dry. Service could've been more welcoming as She was towards 2 gentlemen before me. As a new customer I shouldn't feel like I'm being a bother by asking questions pertaining...
