Horrendously pathetic! So much chicken and they said they didn’t have any ready. I got two thighs: he said “we’re waiting for the rest of your order, want something else?” so I said “whatever”.. after 45 minutes of waiting I didn’t care, and didn’t even get what I ordered. I ordered A leg and a thigh… he said I got one regular and one spicy, but I couldn’t tell the difference… $11 for two pieces of chicken that was barely any chicken just a little piece of thigh not even a full thigh - a little tiny piece and mostly bone, all it was was crunchy batter, with Half a cup of mashed potatoes in a minuscule styrofoam cup; wasn’t even full! No utensils to eat, no butter or honey for the teeny small sweet biscuit. That’s all that was good was the puny little dough ball. They didn’t have any iced tea and the root beer I wanted was out! Server wouldn’t even help me for 2 minutes to finish complaining to another employee doing NOTHING, Just glared at me off and on until I waved my hand to unhypnotize them. There was SO MUCH CHICKEN on the shelf. PILES OF IT! How did it take 45 minutes? They don’t give you a number and they don’t take your name; they just call out the order so everybody kept asking, “is that your order? Is this your order?” Everybody forgot what they ordered or ordered the same thing. The people behind me got their order first. The lobby was full. All the tables were full. I didn’t get a receipt when I ordered. No place to sit. “Soft opening” is...

I was curious how it compared to a KFC, so I agreed we could try it. We went online and found one of their coupons, a 5-piece dark meat, two regular sides, and two biscuits, for $12.99. During the 50 minutes my hubby waited for our food, he witnessed customers coming in and turning around and leaving, customers that had been there before he arrived, and a staff member picking a fight with a customer so bad it resulted in her being let go on the spot.
Most of the time, the so-called managers were absent, whereas they should have been there and present, especially since they had people in training.
Once he arrived, I was unpacking our food to find that one of our sides, the fried okra and one of our biscuits, was nowhere to be found.
Church's chicken was bland and greasy; the one tiny biscuit was dry and hard to cut in half. Coleslaw, lacking in flavor, I have had worse, but I have had so much better. If I want unhealthy chicken, I'll save it for KFC!
In my opinion, I would stay clear of Church's Chicken for a while so they can get their act together. Hopefully, for their sake, things will...
