Equipped with the finest Infinity sound system Chrysler had at their disposal in 2007; I never felt the need to upgrade my sound system in my Dodge Ram.
Until one of my speakers blew up in my truck. Being that it took me 7 years to find this specific build in this truck (2007.5 Dodge Ram Laramie 6.7l cummins, G56 trans, Megacab, dually, 4x4 with low miles) I plan on keeping it forever... I wanted to put a quality system in this rig. I run my company out of this truck. We take it every year hauling our camper on our anniversary road trips. I wanted to put a quality system in it. My search began.
I called Xtreme Audio in Bremerton and discussed what I was after with Rafael. He encouraged me to stop by and take a look at their options.
Upon arriving, I was greeted by Rafael. He asked some questions about my music preferences, and head unit I was after. Within 10 minutes, we had all the goodies picked out.
Sony XAV AX8500 10.1" floating screen, Audison 6x9 and 6.5 speakers, Audison tweeters in the dash, and 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch 10" subs. I also wanted a backup camera. Just like that, my search was over.
I was planning on leaving within 2 weeks for one of the anniversary trips my wife and I take every year. That was no problem for Rafael... he had me in within a week. The plan was to install the head unit, and speakers. The subwoofers would require a custom box for behind the seats. Those would be installed after I returned.
Within 36 hours, I was able to pick my truck back up. Much to my surprise, Rafael even installed the subs in a "loaner box" so we could enjoy the full sound system on our 2500 mile trip. I was to bring the truck back upon my return to have the custom box built and installed. This custom box will allow me to have access to the storage cubbies behind the seats without moving the subwoofer. I wasn't expecting subs to be installed, but here they were. That is the definition of excellent service. Running a company of my own, I strive to under-promise, and over-deliver... it appears Rafael does the same.
I won't give exact numbers for what I spent. Just know that I would rather cry once, over cry twice. What I will say, is that I priced each of these items myself. I know how long it would've taken me to do the work. I was incredibly happy with the price I was quoted. I did get a "package deal" discount which h helped to save money, also.
Overall, I am incredibly happy with my setup. The sound quality is amazing... I listen to primarily country, metalcore and rock. I feel like I am front row in concert every time I sit behind the wheel. Memories come back from the shows I've been to. The head unit I couldn't be happier with. Highly recommend. Especially if you have kids that you want to entertain on long rides. You can play movies on it through an HDMI cable. Plus, you don't need to plug your phone into it to use Android Auto or OnXHunt. (should come in handy for late archery elk season)
If I could summarize my experience in 3 words, the first that comes to mind would be... Quality Value Service
If you are looking to upgrade your quality of life behind the wheel, you owe it to yourself to talk to Rafael at Extreme Car Audio of Bremerton. This man is a master of his trade, and passionate about providing the best service he can. I am incredibly happy and thankful I chose to do business with him and his team.
Thank you,...

This is one of the very, VERY few places in existence that does NOT do that. From top to bottom, this establishment is top notch. From the friendliness of the workers to the set up of the store, to the work that they do and the prices they charge, it all comes together to paint a picture of exactly how rare Xtreme Car Audio is: An honest local business that views customers not as numbers or dollar signs but as PEOPLE. Which I think everyone can agree this world needs more of.
I have been here many, many times over the years for many different reasons, and I always walk away feeling the same: happy with the product/service, ecstatic that I don't feel like I got hosed. For the record, I'm not a complete amateur when it comes to installing car audio. Technically I could do a lot of what I have done there myself, but there would be a lot of swearing and the final result would look NOWHERE near as good! So you may end up spending some of your hard earned money here, but rest assured that the work that they do will be worth every penny!
Here's the result of my most recent trip: swapped the stock stereo deck out for something with an aux cord input in my pickup, they did a flawless...
Read moreI went 3 times looking for driving lights. The third time I went the guy was nice and took my number. Said he will order and call me. Two days went by and no phone call. So i went there. I guess him and somebody who I assumed was the owner saw me pull up and he said, we were talking about you and we couldn't find anything for the model of my car. I wasn't looking nor did I ask for any light for the model of my car. I was looking for universal driving lights!?! Then this guy who i assumed was the owner took over. Went behind the counter and said we only have these, which were the lights I was looking when I came in on the previous visits. He said they were $50.00 and if i wanted them installed that would be an additional $80.00. If I wanted them hooked to the fog lights, that would be an additional fee. If I have wires, cause I have other lights hooked up that I was replacing, he said to pulled them, that would be additional fee. Already I'm at $160.00 plus. I told him that the friend who referred me said it would cost me $65.00 total. The lights I wanted only cost $10.00 to $20.00 on Amazon. They wanted to charge me $50.00. I left and...
