Ever since I found this little gem I have gone here every year on my birthday for a donut well this year they were closed due to Staffing issue then when I finally discovered that they reopened I went in only to find out that they no longer take EBT after I put in my order I don't understand why they would cancel out a whole block of people but I guess the paperwork is just too much for them to handle Donuts are fabulous some of the best in town however clearly there is something amiss in the office working portion of the business I am personally highly offended that they no longer accept Snap also I don't know the new girls are that working there but they're not very knowledgeable in regards to answering questions about pricing and things of that nature when I asked about how much a Baker's Dozen cost I was told that that doesn't exist in that they've never carried that even though I've been buying Baker's Dozen from that donut shop for close...

It is WILD walking into a bakery before 10 AM and you are OUT of everything because you were "busy"- if you have been in business for a long time, YOU WOULD KNOW WHEN YOU'D BE BUSY AND PLAN ON IT!!!!!!! Tired of walking in literally at 8-9AM and you are magically out of...

Unexpectedly, I was handed the doughnuts and told I could just come back in pay later!?!? I mean who does that? A locally owned bakery, with an actual connection with their customers, that’s who.
Although I no longer live in the area, I have always remember this experience and how it made me feel. So much so that I am writing about it 15 years later!
If I am ever on that side of the water again, I will make it a point to stop by for another...
