EDIT: UPDATE! Gave this place another shot recently. Really turned things around and are more consistent! Provided as advertised, food was delicious. Glad to see theyāve worked out the kinks, really nice people.
Unfortunately my wife and I ate here on 11/17 and it did not go well. Weāve eaten here multiple times under the previous ownership and always satisfied. The new menu stated whole wings(thereās even a picture on the menu), breaded, served with fries, cole slaw, and bread. None of what was advertised actually happened - the wings were split, not whole or breaded, no bread, no fries, and no cole slaw came with our order. We also ordered a house salad with ranch, no dressing came with the salad at all. When you are prompted to select your wing sauces, it gives you the option to choose multiple sauces with your order. It does not give you the option to split the order for sauces, which is fine. But instead of providing two different sauces on the side, they just dumped both sauces...

The wings were cooked perfectly and sauced liberally. The flavors were out of this world. Having lived in Buffalo, NY,I am very particular, and they delivered. The young woman continued to check on us and attend to our every need, and we felt we made the right choice.
I cannot imagine a trip to Pittsburgh without a stop at 51 Wings! They have earned out business and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was struggling for over a year to find comparable wings after moving to here from New York. A lot of the places were good but nothing was great. Until I randomly stumbled on this place late at night when the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed.
These are hands down the best wings in the city and some of the best wings I have ever had. Perfect coating, good crunch, very juicy, great size, reasonable price.
Some of the sauces are a bit lacking (the spicy garlic is a bit oily) but if you get one of their many great sauces (I particularly like spicy gold) you will have an amazing meal.
Their pizza is just ok, they probably have too much stuff on their menu, and the wait time is a little high. But none of that matters. Go there, buy as much of the wings as you think you can eat, and have...
