bur bun — Restaurant in Brentwood

I came to this restaurant to get a juicy, medium burger and even added egg to it. It was cooked so well done it was way too dry to finish. I had such a hard time swallowing it. I added sauce as well and it was still dry. The fried egg was fully cooked so that just made matters worse. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was nice other than the fact I told the server after one bite how dry it was and asked for extra sauce. I usually never finish my drink and it was gone after only eating half the burger. So once the drink was gone I was done. The other waitress asked how it was and I told her it was so dry I do not want it. No one offered to take it back so they could cook it properly. Which is why I am giving the service a 3. Food is definitely a 1. I figured since it is in a Hilton it must have good food. Absolutely not. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was horrible. I let her know I was a Hilton member too and that i can give her my member number for points and nothing. For that they get no tip. I even wrote that in as a tip. Burger bar. Smash burger was still pretty thick. Bun was delicious. Excellent sliced tomotoes on the burger. Mustard had been sitting for so long it had separated and had a ton of water on top in container on table. Great bar and local IPA beer and domestic beer. Glass was not chilled and can could have been colder. Our server was great! Pleasant environment except for several families with small loud whining children at the time of night we arrived due to overnight travel stay. They seated us all very close together which was unnecessary. Small restaurant but at this time of night there could have been some distance between the other families dining. Our table was clean and spacious. Our server communicated well and she was perfectly attentive. This restaurant is inside the Hilton Suites hotel which is nice. The nachos were very good! There was a sirloin steak on the menu. My son said the grilled cheese was delicious. The shoestring fries were thicker than Steak-n-Shake fries but very good!...

Nice looking venue and bar as well as extremely convenient while staying at the Brentwood Hilton. Was typically busy for a Friday night and looked to be understaffed. The employees were nice but spread too thin helping all the guests. Looking at their menu it’s evident that burgers seem to be the specialty so that’s what was ordered. Unfortunately they were somewhat dry and nothing too special which was a little disappointing considering the location and atmosphere.
