The Poki — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

5-Star food but they recently changed their portion sizes and didn’t change the price. They basically halved the size of a normal bowl but the price stayed the same!! 😳😳 I thought at first they were doing a new thing where they put the rice and salad in the lid then I realized that that was indeed the bowls new size. Very disappointing!!!!! At $12.50, $14 with tax and tip, finishing the meal and still feeling hungry is not what you want. And that was the case today. It’s especially frustrating when if like my wife, you don’t eat meat and get tofu, there is no reduction in price already to then get the amount decreased and pay the same. It’s really wild. Sadly, we won’t be driving the 30 minute drive to Brentwood for this meal any longer. The food is still delicious but just crazy over priced (it bordered on over priced before this halving of the portion size) now for the amount you get. Hopefully they will change this back to the original amount or charge less. I will gladly raise this review up to 5 stars and return to our weekly visits if they reconsider this current choice....

Love a Poki bowl and have been driving to Franklin to get one UNTIL NOW. This place is the best tasting and most variety of toppings I have ever had with a Poki Bowl. I got a large bowl which was 5 scoops of protein. 3 shrimp and 2 salmon. ALL DELICIOUS! added: corn, brussel sprouts( you have to get these and last time we came they were sold out. so you have to come early and get these, but very good) avocado , sweet potatoes, white and brown rice, green onion, edamame, mango, crispy garlic and toasted seasame and lastly topped with the creamy togarashai sauce( the sauce is amazing !) The staff is always very helpful and can guide you if you have not been there before. It all looked fresh and tasted delicious. I would highly recommend and I would drive by any other poki place to come here! thankfully its only 20 minutes away but again we use to drive 35 minutes to the other place and it was a good 4 star but SOOO GLAD we gave THE POKI a chance. i have been a returning, loyal customer to this place since 2021. sadly, around 2023 the ownership must’ve changed. the quality of the protein has gone down significantly, while the prices continue to rise. also, many time i have gone in and a shorter man in his 40s has been very rude, tempestuous, and disrespectful. there was one time in specific when i bought 2 bowls. he then commented “someone must be hungry”. as a larger individual, that was COMPLETELY and utterly uncalled for. as a paying patron of this business, i expect to be treated with basic respect. however, whenever i go in earlier in the week, there are always these two wonderful young ladies who are eager to help. in the past few months, i have noticed a sign that says that the employees do not receive tips. my question is, who gets them? judging by the signs,it goes to the owner with no intent of redistributing it to their hard working employees. i am sad to publicly say that i do not recommend the...
