Chipotle is a great place to eat. They were one of the first chains to jump on the "clean ingredient" trend (which is something I am in favor of), and was, to my recollection, the first Mexican chain to go with the "assemble as you go" format of item preparation that has since been adopted by M's and Q**.
Getting in and out of this location can be kind of a pain because of the local traffic and traffic patterns, but if you're determined you'll get there. The inside is kept clean, and I love the novelty of the drink station and the speakers appearing not-yet-finished. I also like their take on the tall tables that seat six, have stainless steel table tops, and the light fixtures over them. It's almost an industrial aesthetic.
While we're at it, can we talk about that aesthetic? Speakers. Drink station. Plywood (more or less unfinished). I'm sure there's a reason for it, perhaps some company legacy or something, but while I like it I still have to wonder after eating at Chipotle for more than several many years.
The menu is pretty straight forward. You order what you want (Tacos, burrito, bowl, or salad), add your protein (steak, carnitas, chicken, barbacoa (my faaaaaavorite), or sofritas), then customize with rice or beans and variety of toppings and sauces. By combining various ingredients you can come up with a wide variety of entrees. The Chips & Guac or Chips & Salsa are great sides. For my money it's white rice, barbacoa, fajita vegetables, tomatillo red-chili salsa (the hot stuff!), sour cream and cheese. That's ALL I need...ever...for the rest of my life.
The staff at this location is friendly and helpful, and does an amazing job of cleaning up tables and keeping the dining room looking great. There were a surprising number of people working, but it's not like they were standing around. Everyone was busy and contributing to keep the food moving, the customers happy, and the dining room clean. The staff was helpful with suggestions along the way and took the time to get what we needed without it seeming like an...
Read moreI would like to express my thought HONESTLY for the bad service I had each time I entered this Chipotle Branch to order for me and my kids . Very dishonest service and every time I deal with them in a different way and with extreme disrespect, especially when a worker scoops up rice and beans as if he was cutting off his body to put in the plate. The issue has actually become their extreme keenness on how the types of food displayed on their display plates continue for the longest period of service without filling the order plate fairly and equally to the amount paid. I wonder why the treatment and specifications change for every order in every session and with every order even if the order is the same order. My children and I, without exaggeration, go to this branch every day, but with every visit there is no security while the fraud in dealing focuses on the fact that it is important for the workers to take the largest amount of orders without a shortage in the food contents on the display bar. This does not make a person feel like continuing or encouraging to go at all. Please have honesty in dealing and the amount of food on the plate, and the issue is not how to profit without dealing honestly, and this is something that is not liked for a well-known and famous name like Chipotle. Please consider this complaint to address the error...
Read moreI usually love going to Chipotle but I have had two pretty lackluster experiences at this location since coming over here. The first time I ordered online via their app for delivery to my job, the order kept bouncing between drivers and ultimately was never picked up. I had to drive to the location and pick it up myself as it has been sitting on the shelf for 30 minutes. Today I went again, this time I ordered online via the app for pickup. When I arrived there were two lines, one to order and one for the rest of us who did an online order. Great. The gentleman in front of me had his order for the same time frame I had mine and we stood there for 5-10 minutes before the young lady behind the counter came out to ask for our names. I totally understand the lunch rush but this is getting to be really disappointing especially for orders that are placed ahead of time and supposed...
