Starbucks — Restaurant in Brentwood

I visit this Starbucks every time I'm in Brentwood and it never disappoints. I'm a "coffee in the morning" kind of person, so my visits are always during the morning rush. This place is always slamming between 7am and 9am, but there's a hustle to this team that is amazing. It's not uncommon to walk in and see a dozen or more drinks already prepared (I'm assuming ordered on the SBUX app), waiting for someone to come in and pick it up.

The inside can get a bit crowded, as busy as they get, with people both waiting to place their order and then waiting to pick them up. Yes, it can be a bit chaotic with all that, but there's a method to this madness. The staff is busy preparing drinks and breakfast items in a strangely choreographed manner. They all work fast and focused and with as many times as I've visited, none of them has ever appeared frustrated or unhappy. Even when asking for suggestions or questions, the staff replies helpfully, not as it you're interrupting their work flow.

My only complaint (and it's not one that I'd take a star away for) would be the design of the location. From the door to the counter to the waiting area requires you to cross paths with a bunch of people, causing confusion and congestion. A second door close to the ordering counter would do a lot to alleviate that...

I've been going to this Starbucks for 15 years now. Its a good café location. The morning crew has always been the catalyst for how attractive this location is to visit, imo. If they have happy, smiling faces in there that can engage a customer with a quick convo and kind smile, great spot! If its a period where they have a morning crew that doesn't smile and has trouble with having a nice attitude, then meh. It makes it less attractive to walk in instead of finding a drive-thru location. They have always been good to me and I've made relationships over the years with baristas and regular customers alike, so overall, I appreciate that we have this location in our town, but you're hardest on the ones you love right? I don't usually come to this specific location, but stopped In because they had a certain drink available while my normal location was out of It. I visited during the morning rush as well. I did a mobile order but arrived before my drink was ready. The barista was very kind, and I could tell she was stressed with so many customers waiting. She continued to hold a stream of conversation with the customers saying 'Oh your drink Is next' or 'Dont worry, I haven't forgot about you' I thought she was really sweet while under pressure. The drink she made for me was good too, didn't miss anything with my request for no whip! (Alot of baristas forget this detail from time to time) It's the limited Smoked...
