I agree with the last reviewer, the service here has made me never want to come back. The server was so rude... The same server was working on Friday, October 27, when my husband went into the store, and again today, October 31st, when I went into the store at 12:30 p.m. We thought her behavior on the 27th was just a one-off, but today confirmed that it is not, and should she continue to be employed here, she will likely run this franchise into the ground. I walked into the store today, was not greeted at all, but just told there will be no donuts because we don't have any dough. When I inquired as to whether there would be dough later in the day, the server told me that we close at 3:00 p.m. I said yes, I know that, but it's 12:30 p.m. do you think you will replenish your dough supplies before you close? She responded, I'm leaving early today because I've been here all day. She then asked me what I wanted, and I said I was going to order a dozen donuts and possibly use one of my rewards, to which she said I don't know how to do rewards, so, you won't be able to use that. Seriously, there was not a single positive thing that she said from the moment I entered the establishment! I honestly felt like I must be on some sort of reality TV show where she was trying to convince me to feel badly for being in this place of business, And definitely did not want to try to sell a donut. To the owner, we have a family owned small business ourselves, and if you don't change how you run this business, you'll be closed before next year. The donuts are good, but the customer service has to be better, and I left today unwilling to come back because it's just...
Read moreGrowing up my first waking thought on Saturday mornings was the hope that we would drive to the edge of town and get Donuts from Don's Donuts. Small and locally owned, this family bakery had traditional favorites but they also had one of a kind specialty concoctions. Imperfectly handmade in limited quantities I hoped each time that they would still have at least 1 cream-filled long John and a bear claw left by the time we arrived…I can still taste them. Not getting to repeat that tradition with my own children is one of many things that have gotten lost, the way things do when small towns aren't small anymore. Now the edge of town is far beyond the house I grew up in, “in the country” and my children and I are making our own new traditions. I have tried to find a special Saturday morning donut shop we could call our own and a few weeks ago we hit the jackpot when we tried Duck Donuts. It is everything and more and then some. Delicious, unique, clearly made with pride and love we look forward to having them every Saturday. This is week 4 and we still haven’t come close to trying all the wonderful ways you can have Duck Donut. Keep up the amazing work! We love...
Read moreThis was my number 1 donut spot until recently. I would drive 35 min to get these donuts. 2 weeks ago I ordered 5 dozens of donuts for my son's wedding - $120. I called the manager the day of the wedding to inform them. She stated she had to have the physical card to refund the 2 1/2 donuts that was not correct .The wedding venue was 1 1/2 hour from Duck Donuts, therefore not able to immediately rectify the problem. Went in on a Saturday to get the refund and was told to come back Monday thru Friday before 3 when the manager would be there. Returned the following Monday and as I walked in the manager said I wish you would have called me because I can do a refund over the phone, I just need the card number. The refund was issued however I was never offered anything additional for the inconvenience. They let a customer who spent $120 on their products walk out the door with a mere "I hope everything else went well at the Wedding." They have lost a true loyal customer and another penny will not be spent there. Donuts good, customer...
