Nick The Greek — Restaurant in Brentwood

Smaller portions than any other location in the Bay Area. At first I thought it’s random but this location has regularly under filled the portions. Also the extra meat is much smaller , usually served on the side. I eat regularly at all locations in the Bay Area and I can tell you these folks are serving less. If there is any challenges on the business then I believe there is other ways to manage this. My last order, the gyro bowl was half and the side of meat was barely 1/3 of the serving box. Compared to other locations where they fill the bowl up and serve 1/2-3/4 of the box. I can go and measure with a scale to prove this, but you the business are likely aware of this, as it’s the same for every order. Either charge less or serve same as the other franchises. I’ll vote with my $ elsewhere.

EDIT: I decided to give this restaurant one more chance. Ordered via uber eats. I could see that they improved on the portions size. So I thought I would write a edit and make a note on the improvement. Today’s uber eats came I was unpleasantly surprised by a NASTY dirty string in my food. Ordered for pick up and checked if food was ready when I arrived. Front staff let me know it wasn’t, so I sit right by them waiting. Twenty minutes go by, I ask again, food had been sitting there ready for who knows how long. Three front staff, all blaming each other instead of checking if my order was correct or still warm (it was not). In the midst of them blaming each other, I still have to ask for my cup, which they didn’t even hand over until they verified I’d ordered a meal with a drink.

Service is nonexistent, I paid almost $40 for two people to eat, and instead we get our time wasted and cold food. That’s just for take out at a fast food restaurant, I could get meals at a full service restaurant for less than that.

Unfortunately I had run out of time to go back in and rectify the cold food issue before I had to leave. But it didn’t seem like the workers cared too much either way.

I should note though, the one prior time I ordered food here, the gentleman with the tattooed arms provided good service and was more on top of things, but he wasn’t there this time. I hope they can get their service issues fixed, as the food is pretty good...

They are not honest when it comes to side orders first there is no weight count on the amount they will sale you , they charge 5.44 for a side of beef/ lamb or chicken and only give you less then 2oz of meet but they show you a 6oz box you asked them how much you get for the price they show you the box and will not give you the amount that the box they show is that is robbery , since they open I was a repeat customer now I’m not so sure if I or anyone should deal with a business that takes advantage of there customers by cheating them of there meal. TO BAD BECAUSE MY FAMILY REALLY LIKED THEIR FOOD BUT WE DONT APPRECIATE BEING RIPPED OFF , maybe the day crew is different the evening crew well you try it for your self I didn’t APPRECIATE THE SERVICE. Had to come back and complain about the service and showed them the difference in the portions of three boxes, after complaining and wasting time my food was cold they rectified it but the trouble of dealing with this was not worth being a repeat...
