The Cheesesteak Shop — Restaurant in Brentwood

I moved to California from the east coast some years ago, so I'm forever in search of the "perfect east coast cheesesteak". Now I've come to Brentwood and it's slim pickins out here in our tiny corner of bay area paradise! So I was quite pleased seeing this place opened up and had to give it a try. It's great, imo! Very much reminded me of my favorite haunts from back in NJ. I am especially happy with their "hoagie style" (which in Jersey we call "California style" funny enough) and the option to add sweet + hot peppers.

Worst cheese steak shop I’ve been too. I waited between 15-20 min. For my order and when I get it it’s cold. When I complained about the cold food after a long wait I was told I only waited less then 10 min. And my food was cold due to the peppers. When I informed them I only had cheese and steak/ no peppers or onions and it was cold she told me she couldn’t do anything for me. I spent more then $50 for 3 people only to receive cold un satisfactory food and service. No wonder they ask for a tip before you get service. Never again will go go to this place. An employee from this location harassed my wife tonight and claimed that she touched his car which was parked outside the store. We were about to go inside the shop to order some food when the employee came out of his car to stop us and to yell at my wife. He kept harassing her and would not let her go and when I confronted him, he tried to escalate the situation. I went inside the store to speak to the manager but he/she was not there.
