Papa Chen — Restaurant in Brentwood

Not the most friendly of establishments, I felt like....I wasn't really welcomed, like they were frustrated they had to make food to get my money.

But again, it's a Chinese restaurant. I shouldn't expect any more, right ?

I always see the sign, when I take the lone tree exit, and said I'll try it.

Food was ok, I guess, wasn't like bomb Chinese food, my biggest thing about this place was the size of the take out containers, I felt I didn't get real value from the portion sizes. As the containers from other take out establishments are much bigger, especially Chinese take out.

I rarely eat Chinese food because it's not my top favorite but today is Christmas and nowhere else to go, only this Chinese restaurant opened on Christmas. Surprisingly the food was great, not oily or salty like other Chinese restaurants. They have a large menu with hundreds of options. The Singapore style noodle was not soggy or oily, it's perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chow fun was good with tons of meat. The orange chicken might need more sauce next time, just a little extra sauce would make it x10 better. The amount of food was insane for reasonable price. This 3 container would feed a...

Food is delicious. There is no denying that. However, service is HORRENDOUS. The lady working the front of the store (whom I believe is thee owner) is terribly rude and callous. One would figure that a restaurant would want people to return but her behavior is so atrocious it makes me want to never return. If you go for the food, I suggest takeout as to not deal with her. Such horrible customer service. This was after I received the wrong order. Mistakes happen but how is it the customer fault when the restaurant hands you the wrong to go order? She just get an...
