We purchased a Disney gift card for our daughters trip to Disney. When she got down there it did not work. Disney instructed her to call Target since she had receipt and authorization and Target told her it was Disney’s fault. So here my child is with another family down in Anaheim with no way to get into Disneyland. When I went in to the store and spoke with assistant manager Amber she was completely insensitive and informed me that Target is just a third party seller and does not stand behind these gift cards. I find it hard to believe that a corporation such as this would sell something that they can’t back. In addition even with the receipt Amber says it is non refundable!!!! Funny thing is my daughter wasn’t the only one whose park hopper wouldn’t work. Another girl in her party whose mom bought it at Target as well hers didn’t work either. I will tell everyone I know about this atrocious customer service and I will drive the extra 5 minutes to Walmart so that I know longer support a company that doesn’t support...
Read moreBefore I begin my explanation of the reason for the rating I gave, I would like to mention the one positive and praiseworthy section of this location, and that is the food service department which is excellent! I can't say enough about how friendly, courteous, and professional the staff (all of them) are whenever I have been a customer there. If it were possible to give this Target store a "negative star" rating, then I'd have done so. I have never felt so disappointed and insulted as a customer as I have every time I've shopped at this location with the exception of the Target @ Century Plaza Shopping Center, but for a different reason altogether. I will not shop here again because of how consistent they are with causing me to feel like I am about to describe in this review. I am not a thief, ever. Not just because I'm being followed around the store. I HAVE ALWAYS had money to purchase the items I intended to get, and in the rare occurrence when I was just a little bit short, I left the items at the register with...
Read moreSo, I was in the store early today with my boy exchanging a toy set for him. As we were walking around I slipped on some slimy stuff on the floor and landed on my left knee. Another customer saw me fall and got an employee right away. Then that employee called the floor manager Denise and she wrote up an incident report. While she was doing that, Michael (employee) rushed over to clean the floor and got me a handicap cart. Even though my knee was in a bit of pain, I really didn't want to use the handicap cart. So I told him thanks but it's better if we let an actual handicap person use it.
I was extremely impressed how Denise and Michael were so attentive and offered to help. Denise took my information and let me know a third party company will be contacting me. My boy said they were super nice to me and glad I was still able to get him his birthday gift exchanged.
If you happen to be at this store make sure to say hello and thanks to Denise...
