Disappointing Experience – Not Like the Franklin Location
We’ve had great meals at the Franklin Taziki’s, but this location was a letdown. Highlights '- the restaurant was clean and it was easy to find parking.
They were out of basmati rice and lamb during ordering. I paid for an iced tea only to find out they had half a glass left—no refund offered.
The falafel appetizer arrived cold and undercooked. They did recook it, but the staff member who dropped it off said nothing. The manager did check in and was friendly and energetic, which we appreciated. Our other food items were good and we liked the healthy offerings although potato chips with a good feels a bit cheap instead of pita chips with a side of hummus or a salad option.
We came at 8pm, but it felt like the restaurant was more focused on closing than serving. We stayed until 9, and while the manager offered refills before locking up, the overall vibe was lackluster.
Blah food, blah service, blah atmosphere. When we spend our money at a restaurant, we’re choosing to support it. Tonight, that choice didn’t feel worth it. There are plenty of other options nearby, and we’ll likely go elsewhere for dinner in the future. Might give lunch...
Read moreDefinitely busier than in Mount Juliet or Franklin. This place was packed at lunch time, there were barely any tables available. At the other locations there is rarely anyone else even there. However the food was still great & they brought it to our table just as fast as the less popular locations. I always brag about Taziki's sweet tea. Don't know what to get? Their lamb is amazing in a gyro or as a feast meal. The Taziki dip is amazing with soft pita, baked pita if you want some crunch. The salads are huge. I'm a picky eater & they've never messed up my complex order. This is also the cleanest location I've been to so far (out of 3 others). I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch as you'll have time to work off a bit of the bloat.
You order at the counter & sit wherever you want. The atmosphere is nice, lots of natural light, & the tall tables by the window are perfect for people watching.
Also, it's "yur-oh"....
Read moreThis is one of my new favorite places. The turkey and egg sandwich with bacon is unreasonably delicious. Many other dishes like the beef tenderloin and grilled chicken are almost as good. An employee walked around the dining area fetching people drinks and asking if anyone needed anything, which is nice for a restaurant where you don't order at your table.
We got inside and in line before a big rush. During rush hours, it takes a while to get through the ordering line. Thankfully, they have menus in line (but that doesn't stop people from taking their time deciding what to order at the counter). There wasn't too much space inside- I'm not sure if everyone got a table.
It was icy one day and the sidewalks outside were very, very slippery if you didn't have shoes with traction.
Overall, I love the food, but it may have a long line and has...
