I went through the drive through last night for my mother and it was a very peculiar, time consuming experience. The place was completely dark, but there were roughly four cars in line so I just assumed they were open. The total wait time was almost HALF AN HOUR. When I got home we realized I didn't get half the food I had paid for. My mom called the restaurant and a very polite manager apologized for the mistake and gave us a credit. I went back tonight to use the credit and it was not a pleasant visit. When I got to the window I told them I had a credit and no one knew what I was talking about. The manager asked what I wanted/ordered and I said I wasn't really worried about the credit and I wanted to just forget about it. He sternly said "Tell me what you want so I can get it done!" I was shocked by his response but I just took my food and left. I've had numerous poor experiences here with rudeness, messed up orders, inedible food etc. But tonight was definitely the icing on the cake. I was already anxious about using the credit and everyone made me feel even worse about it. Read moreForemost, the only somewhat saving grace of my meal at this KFC was the staff’s understanding and willing to work with me.
Out of the 5 items I ordered they did not have 3 of them. It was very difficult to get a full meal with the options left available at this time (9:30pm). Every step of the way seemed to be something else unavailable and had to work out what exactly I could order to get my worth of the meal I chose. So ended up with a mix bag of chicken, double sides and mountain of cookies. I wonder whether or not they are permitted to do so, as the kind staff explained the situation and offered substitutes I peered in the window to see on a white board a heavily emphasized message to “WEIGH OUT PORTIONS, DONT OVER PORTION”.
I appreciate the staff working with me to get me value and I hope they are not getting chewed out for improving the service in poor times like this. something still has to change here to make items available while this...
Read moreUnfortunately this seems to be an issue with the staff. We arrived at 5:45 tonight for a 5:55pm pickup order (placed on the app). I was told several times that they had no idea where it was and to sit and wait, which we did. I got a notification on the app that said my order was being prepared and then one that said it was ready. I went back to the front and showed the young woman my phone. Still nothing. They seriously looked confused. Nothing even on the screen. I'm told to go wait yet again. About 5 minutes after 6pm I get called up. Two big bags. No drinks. They took another 5 minutes to fill 2 half gallon jugs of soda. We get home and we have the wrong sauce and we're missing a whole box of biscuits. Seriously...
