We purchased a dresser that cost in excess of $1,000. When we got it to my house after picking it up it was discovered that the dresser wasn’t sturdy, it was very wobbly. It also had a screw protruding from one of the drawers. We called and the owner advised that this particular dresser is part of a “value line” and that we couldn’t expect the same level of quality as other pieces of furniture that had been purchased there. There was nothing that stood out to me in the show room to indicate that this particular dresser was of a lower quality than anything else in the store. Nonetheless, the owner agreed to take the dresser back and see if our concerns could be addressed. We had to re-load the dresser, drive it back to the store and leave it for repair. We picked the dresser back up and the wobble is gone. However, the drawers do not sit flush and don’t open and close smoothly. One drawer in particular will not close after you open it without basically slamming it shut. We again contacted the owner and provided video of the drawer not shutting properly and he said that he had inspected the dresser himself and it was fine when it left. I really don’t see how that’s possible, I’m not sure how simply transporting the dresser would cause the drawers to no longer fit appropriately in the dresser. He gave the option to once again return it which we have opted not to do. I know that this establishment is capable of producing quality furniture as my family has bought multiple pieces that are great. However, be sure to ask specifically if you are buying a “value” item and what that means specifically. To me a $1000 piece of furniture should be high quality. If I bought a $100 dresser I would still expect the drawers...
Read moreWildly overpriced. Just do yourself a favor and Google International concepts unfinished furniture and buy it from literally anyone else. They charged me double what every other dealer did for unfinished chairs. When I voiced concern (thinking they accidentally charged me double) I was told I was wrong and had no idea what I was talking about but that the owner would call me... he never did. ALSO the "return policy" is a joke, store credit only and they pocket 20%, they don't disclose this. Just make you think you are signing for...
Read moreI feel like crying every time I look at the ugly dresser I got from them. They put the wrong brackets inside and now the drawers pop open by themselves. Horrible finishing, lots of chips and gouges all through the drawers. I’m so unhappy with their work. When I move, I’m considering just leaving this dresser where it is so I don’t have to look...
