Taco Bell / KFC — Restaurant in Brewer

This place isn't perfect, and probably never will be due to it being a fast food restaurant near Bangor. They get things slightly wrong with my order almost every time I visit, but that really doesn't matter to me. The team at this store deserves/probably has already received a most improved award from corporate as well as raises all around and maybe even a pizza party. I'm sure everyone living in this area remembers that this store was total dogwater for the last 3 years, with massive lines, long wait times, and bad food quality. I worked doordash over the winter, and watched a lot of the local fast food places "rise and fall", and out of all of the local joints, this one has been Top Frag for the past 5 months. They seem to be getting considerable business still, but they're funneling cars out the drive thru with higher quality, better made meals while delivering exceptional customer service. I worked some fast food places around here during the pandemic, and I'm well aware that the customers nowadays have gotten so much worse, so I wanted to leave this review here partially for potential customers, but mostly for the staff. Don't listen to the people that scream at you because you ran out of diablo sauce or forgot their ice in their drink or whatever, they're total losers that have no friends. You guys are doing great, and to any of the staff that worked through the last 2 years that are still there, you should be proud of yourself for pulling this store out of the gutter. If anyone in the Brewer/Bangor area wants the best possible fast food experience, they should go exclusively to the Brewer KFC/Taco Bell, the Brewer Burger King, and the Broadway McDonald's. Ignore anyone whining about missing items at any store, mistakes happen, and staff will gladly and swiftly fix your problem if you're not a witch. 10/10 store, would recommend to any local who forgot to make dinner or needs a...

No one even seems to want to help the customer, the service is extremely slow even when there's barely any customers, and the food is dry and barely lukewarm. We witnessed an interaction with another customer that was appalling. They had gone through the drive thru and had to come in because their order was wrong. They asked them to fix it in a calm and rational way but the reaction they got was rude and obnoxious, very unacceptable, when they asked for the manager on duty to complain they were told he was the manager on duty and were met with more hostility. We sometimes do Doordash deliveries and they have just thrown the bag of food on the counter, one time the bag almost fell off the other side of the counter because they just tossed it down fortunately my husband kept that from happening. One time we went through the drive thru for Doordash because they closed the lobby hours early and were in the line for 20 minutes without moving and only a couple cars ahead of us. I live in south carolina an went to this place an let me tell u what they SUCK the managers an staff are omg so bad an dont even care for there customers. Our taco bells an kfc are pretty bad but not anywere near this bad. I will be calling the district manager and the higher up people for these comapanys an this was today so i know all there names and what went on. Thats so wrong. Saw a man there an walked in before me and he waited atleast 20 to 25 mins for 1 5 doller box an we waited atleast 30 mins. Thought this was fast food errrrrrrr.
