The Peacemaker — Restaurant in Brewster

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO EAT FOOD THAT FALLS ON THE FLOOR!! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This place needs to be reported to the health department. I watched the food runner drop food on the floor & proceeded to put it back on the plate & bring it to be consumed by the customers. They use inexpensive paper plates that are not strong enough to hold food. If the runner can use a plastic tray to carry the food, this problem would be resolved. When I asked for a manager or an owner, a young waitress informed me that no managers or owners were on the premises, that they are all left unsupervised to run the restaurant, something I find hard to believe. I've been a part time resident in Brewster for 14 years & I always want to support local businesses when we come to the Cape. However, this business is one that needs to change their ways or close down. It is unsanitary what they are doing. If I was I witness to this event, I can only imagine what other unsanitary things occur behind the scene at this...

Awesome food, big portions ,excellent pricing and the service super. (Even though you order from the counter, and pick up you food; the employees are super friendly!!!!👏🏻)

We tried the TORPEDO(scramble eggs, hash brown,American cheese, and choice of meat - we did shaved rib eye👌🏻on a flour tortilla)[sorry forgot the picture 📸] And the MAHATMA(LOVE IT!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟 was scramble eggs, mushrooms,spinash,caramelized onions,roasted red, hash brown & Vermont cheese on a wheat wrap)

Perfect name for this restaurant. I know the history of this place. New owners bringing new life and attitude. I was originally looking for homemade muffins the day after labor day. Most bakeries were closed. I found peacemaker on line for super large moist lemon poppy muffins. Exactly what they were. Then I saw giant Choco chunk cookies and then I smelled other yummy food. We bought a cheese steak sandwich and the bread was superb, the portion of shredded rib eye was huge and delicious. Staff so nice. Pricey was quality and completely satisfied for the day. Recommend this place for...
