I gave this place five visits before writing a review. They ask for a google review after every purchase so just keep that in mind. I can tell you I really wanted it to be much higher- but in good faith I just can't. You're getting a review based on a months worth of visits.
My first visit was a holiday, i waited 90min and was called up and told I could wait 20 more and sit inside or sit outside- after choosing to wait another 20 and sit inside they called me up again because my inside table was ready. While i was standing there they sat another table outside in the sun- the guests complained and infront of me they were walked to the table i was just called up for and waited extra time for.. at this point i was told it was first come first serve and it would be 30-45more min for an indoor table or i could sit outside. I was hungry so i sat outside. When i got to my outdoor table I was placed in yhe sun and put my sunglasses on so i wasnt blinds while eatting. After that i was greeted with a reduced menu and told those were the options today. If it wasn't for the lovely waitress I would have walked out at this point.
So, needless to say i wholly enjoyed my 30min meal which took 45min to come out of the kitchen, after a 2hr wait, of an entree selection i didnt actually want, because they had a 1/3 of the menu available, while being blinded by the sun. :)
First visit was easily one of the worst restaurant experience i have had in about a decade. So i opted for giving them several more shots before submitting what you just read. After the second visit I decided to give them a third because it was also pretty terrible service- the waitress was one of the most rude and fake personalities i have had as a waitress in years. This then led me to my third, fourth, fifth and sixth visits because I was purely perplexed at how any location could be so hot and cold for basic guest experience. It is mind boggling really how amazing and terrible my visits have been.
Here is the rest of the review of all the other visits:
Girl at the door is always very friendly. Wait times are not always accurate if you jump on the waitlist while driving over there, but its a nice feature to have. It is a very similar system to turning point for app waitlist and orders.
Based on my experience- again of 6 visits now- they have a combination of really great servers who blow you away and then others that border on the line of irritating/fake friendly bordering on rude/ and one i ran into that was wholly indifferent and had the personality of a sugarfree pancake. It really is a mixed bag and this is my biggest critique of the location. You have no idea what experience you will end up getting for your visit. Which frankly means I'm not going there on a regular basis unless somewhere else starts to mess up my meals.
The facility is very attractive. The vibe should be great based on what they are going for but, the openceiling with no sound absorption builtin means it is a giant echo chamber. It is a pretty poorly designed facility in that regard. You can't hear a person across the table w/o raising your voice. Let alone the wait staff. It's less than ideal.
Food is decent. It is not bad for what it is, but while it is consistent- it isn't anything special. Nothing here blows me away or makes me go wow that was delicious i need to vome back and get that again. Every single menu item iv had has been purely ok. Nothing iv had makes me want to get it again or go there again because it was absolutely delicious.
While the brand wants to deliver an experience that feels good and tastes even better. This location is not much more than ok food being served by (on average) inexperienced waitstaff giving below average service w/ very little to no focus on genuine hospitality.
There are several other breakfast places within 2miles- all of them are better options if you want a genuine, pleasant, consistent, tasty breakfast/brunch dining experience.
I'll revisit in 6months with hopefully an...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of First Watch for years, regularly visiting locations in Ohio, Orlando, FL, and Eatontown, NJ, without ever having a single issue—until now.
I recently placed an online order for pickup at this new location, expecting the same seamless experience I’ve always had. Unfortunately, when I arrived, not only was my order nowhere to be found, but I ended up waiting over 30 minutes while the staff scrambled to figure out what had happened. Eventually, the "manager" came out—not to apologize, not to offer a solution, but to inform me that someone else must have picked up my order and they were “too busy” to remake it. I was simply offered a refund.
I understand the challenges of a busy Sunday morning brunch, especially at a newer location. I understand there may be staffing limitations and timing issues. But what I cannot understand is the complete lack of accountability and basic customer service from management. No apology, no effort to resolve the situation, just blame-shifting and dismissal. That’s not acceptable from any restaurant, let alone one that prides itself on consistency across locations.
It’s clear the management team at this site is not adequately trained to handle high-volume periods. The indifference and lack of ownership displayed here are exactly how loyal customers are lost. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously and steps are taken to better train and prepare staff—especially those in...
Read moreIt's been open for a week or two now and decided to stop in, as it was convenient for our errands. We were promptly greeted and seated right away. As soon as we were seated, our waitress appeared, bearing a pot of coffee, which was greatly appreciated. While perusing the menu, she checked with us 2x within a 5 minute period to see if we were ready to order. My wife chose the "healthy" power wrap, and I decided on the tri-fecta to see how their pancakes were. Our food arrived no more than 10 minutes after ordering, which was nice. As for the food, we were immediately disappointed to discover the "turkey" in her "healthy" wrap was nothing more than chopped up cold cut meat. While the flavor was fine, it definitely was disappointing. My tri-fecta was good, with the chicken apple sausage patty being the tastiest and best part of the meal. The whole grain pancake was huge, but nothing out of the ordinary. We would like to go back for lunch one day, hoping it will be a bit better than the breakfast. On a side note, although our waitress was very kind and concerned about our experience there, it was not necessary for her to ask no less than 4 times during our meal if everything was OK. She seemed to be slightly nervous and our guess would be merely a lack...
