I enjoy eating at Friday's restaurant for a variety of reasons. If you sit in the bar area (there are lots of booths in the bar area, too), you can take advantage of certain $5 appetizers offered Sunday through Thursday --my favorites being the 6 piece traditional buffalo wings, and the 2 Jack sliders (ask the server for a side of Jack Daniels sauce for dipping). In the bar area, you can also enjoy the daily drink specials from Sunday through Thursday. For example on Tuesdays all 14 ounce domestic, craft and imported draft beers with an alcohol content of 8% or less are $3. On Mondays and Wednesdays there are at least 6 different kinds of martinis offered for $3 each. On Thursdays you can get a 16 ounce can of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer for $3, plus some mixed drinks for $3. Friday's also has certain beers for $3 and $4, and certain mixed drinks for $5 and $6 that are available 7 days a week in the bar area. Friday's also has Endless Appetizers for $15 per person that is a good deal. The price increase happened on or about early September 2017. I tried it out for the first time in June 2017 with 3 other persons in my party when the Endless Appetizers were $10 per person. We ordered a variety of items with our favorites being the potstickers, boneless buffalo wings, boneless Jack Daniels wings, and meatballs. We certainly got our money's worth. You can also do the endless appetizers even if you are a party of one person. However, if you do not finish eating all of the food, you cannot ask for takeout for the leftovers. Since I last had the Endless Appetizers in June, Friday's has since added two more appetizers to choose from to their Endless Appetizers menu. If ordering an entree, I usually get the rib eye steak cooked medium rare with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The rib eye steak is offered with either Jack Daniels sauce or butter---and both options are a good choice depending upon your preference. Make sure that you enroll in Friday's Rewards program so that you can start earning points to get free food. You can enroll at the restaurant, but you can also download the Friday's application and enroll that way. You will need to download the Friday's application anyway in order to keep track of your Rewards points and to redeem them later on. Once you are a Rewards member, you can ask your server for free tortilla chips and salsa every time you go to Friday's so that you have something to munch on while waiting for your appetizers or entree. Plus as a Rewards member, you will occasionally get emails from Friday's offering you a discount on your meal, or buy one entree get one free offers. In order to get points added to your account, make sure to tell your server that you are a Rewards member and provide the phone number linked to...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I wanted to give ZERO stars. I've always enjoyed hanging out at Friday's at the bar. We've always had great service and friendly conversation with Nysherra and Dana and the other male bartenders for over the past year or so . It was nice to come in and have them know your drink and make you feel at home. Kyle who is the host is always friendly and very nice.
Today, was a different story.
For the past few months I've been coming in less and less since you hired new bartenders..It was always someone new, so that tells me something, like you're bartenders aren't happy.. But today, you lost a customer. Your bartender Collette was not only rude and nasty, but she was extremely hostile when she was confronted with the mistakes that she made by overcharging us. She took off one of the drinks, but argued about the other ones she overcharged for.. Seriously, since when is okay to argue and talk down to your customers, who pay their bill and tip you? We spoke to the mature female blonde manager on duty, but she seemed to not care, and never apologized for her bartender's behavior. We watched her walk over to Collette and it seemed like they were dismissing us. It was extremely unprofessional.. We even called and spoke to another MOD a few minutes after we left to let them know of our service and how unhappy we were, and yet again, the other female manager was of no help.. Really? I plan on calling their corporate office, not because I want anything, but because I've been in the service industry and never in my life would I ever think to speak to a guest, as she did to my friends and I. I would've expected a manager to take our complaint's seriously. I actually asked the manager what Collette's schedule was so I never come in when she's working and she told me Monday through Friday Lunches. So, now I know. Unfortunately, I will never go to the Brick Friday's again because that was the worst experience I've had in a while. We were never loud, obnoxious or rude. We spoke in a calm manner and were treated with disrespect and nastiness. You can pull up your camera's recordings, as she explained were her reasons for arguing with us.. Colette needs to go back to school and learn the etiquette of taking care of her guests. Obviously she got her bartender degree out of a gumball machine. She has absolutely no personality and needs a class in anger management. She shouldn't be behind your bar, because you will lose a lot more customers than just us.. I spoke to two managers and neither one asked my name. So now I'm calling Corporate.. No wonder why your store always looks dead when I drive by. You loosing customers.. And now you've lost one more. Maybe I'll hear from a Corporate or HR...
Read moreNot at all surprised it was closed down. Had been going less & less over past few years. Food & service not up to par. Last time I called in an order was about 3 weeks ago. It was SO noisy, we couldn't hear each other. Asked me how I wanted burger cooked, then asked me how I wanted DESSERT cooked ! Wasn't paying attention to call, was distracted & joking & laughing. Thought the place was crowded. When I arrived, only TWO customers sitting at the bar, and 1 customer at a table ( on a FRIDAY night!) All the staff were sitting by back door near bar playing a game on their phones ( including who appeared to be manager?) shouting & laughing. I asked "who answered phone"? I did said the Manager(?) I said No wonder you couldn't hear me. He said Oh that phone sucks. I said BULL#@$# !!! This is is what you're doing? - very unprofessional. One of the servers had the nerve to stick up for him ( she was playing, too ). Said I'm done with this place. He said sorry for any inconvenience ( with an attitude) And I said "Yeah, right The only one inconvenienced seems to be you" & I left never to go back again. Fridays would be crazy to "place" this guy ( & most of those servers) anywhere else. I'd never hire them. AND the biggest joke in Jersey is you HAVE to pay entry level, unskilled workers $15/hr. I don't know how small businesses stay open, or how you could even start a small...
