My experience at Brick Township Michaels was fairly normal of a big-box retail store in the Crafts realm. The store was clean albeit normal shopper-dropped items here & there. The staff was friendly and helpful when asking about product locations and suggestions. I purchased quite a few items this day- including unfinished chests and stain (of which proper, professional advice was given regarding finishing the product). During checkout, the line was mid-length during peak times- with staff being courteous and professional; although not moving customers and product in the swift expectation one would have for there being two cashiers working the front end. That being said- this was negated by the professional as-well-as personal conversational touches added once reaching the checkout cashier.
Overall, this experience was fundamentally greater on the scale of expectation and customer service value - and the young male cashier as-well-as the middle aged female cashier offered internal commeradery (showing a happy work place) while providing external glee to be ringing-up paying customers all while having a...
Read moreToms River location!!! I’m giving 5 stars for the store as a whole. The employees are great except for Nadine or Nadia. I don’t know what her problem is, nor do I care but she needs to have a meeting with her boss to adjust her people skills. Before life humbles her. Pathetic
BRICK LOCATION-gets 5 stars. I’ve never been to the Brick location until two days ago. My son needed supplies for a project. This woman Nadia (coincidence?) helped me. She was super nice and even gave me a coupon! Really look a girl out. Thank You Nadia at the Brick location.
Idk if it’s the same woman and her people skills improved 🤷🏻♀️ Bc when I went to post about Nadia and being grateful Her coupon and being so friendly, I realized I had already posted a review.... same name too...hmmmm interesting. Either way Brick location the employees are nicer. I love Micheal’s, I can spend so much...
Read moreLove the crafts and decor available in this store. There is a nice selection of Cricut supplies there, but it's a bummer that those products are not included on coupons. Looks like there is a good amount of baking stuff and really unique collection of yarns. I've always thought Michael's is a little more on trend than the other craft stores. It may not be the store if you're looking for high end professional artist products, but plenty to satisfy a sweet tooth, create a colorful palette, or decorate to your hearts desire. I would have given it 5 stars, but some of the staff are just miserable. Others are friendly and really helpful. It is hardly ever a pleasant trip to the register since you're usually treated with impatience and grumbled at. If you can get through that part of the store, without being grumbled at, the rest of your trip should...
