Van Holten's Chocolates — Restaurant in Brick Township

Great selection of chocolates. Pricing is fair. I recieved a "Rwd Bag" and was told anytime I bring it with me I will recieve a discount. I bought some chocolate bunnies for my nieces and nephew which they loved. Appreciated how they wrap them in bubble wrap to make sure they didn't break while driving back home. Also bought sea salt Caramels, which were probably the best I've ever had( nice soft chewy caramel on the inside), chocolate covered cherries(my mom absolutely loved them), some chocolate covered Strawberries and a variety of fudge( butter pecan, chocolate walnut. Nutella cheessecake and almond joy. All were great but the almond joy one seemed a bit old as it was hard and a lil dried out). Everyone loved everything I brought home. For 5 years, I kept saying I needed to check this place out. Finally, for the first time yesterday, I went in, and I was not disappointed! As soon as my son and I walked in, the smell was amazing, and we were glad we went. The amount of chocolate and chocolate covered goods was insane. The train that ran around the store was awesome! I bought a dark chocolate covered oreo and pretzel for myself, a dark chocolate covered GF oreo for my daughter (so glad they have that option!), and 2 chocolate covered marshmallows for my nephews (my son didn't want anything 🤷‍♂️) and the price was great. The couple behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back and get a strawberry or two for my wife and more of everything too. Especially a chocolate covered hostess cake...

My first trip to Van Holten's i was there just to check out what they had. Walking through there was enough to make my sweet tooth filled head spin! I got some of their delicious fresh fudge ( to die for!) and then raided the giant Jelly Belly bins to get some of my favorite flavors. This is definitely not somewhere to go if you're dieting. LOL On my second trip, I went specifically to get myself a bag of roasted/glazed cashews. They were awesome! I'll definitely be making trips in there to sample more in the future. The staff is friendly and can answer any questions you may have about the products.
