Ali's Mediterranean — Restaurant in Bridgeport

I was in the area and excited to try food local to the area. After looking a bit online my mom and I were both excited to see this place, fair priced and well rated. We weren’t able to set up reservations online so we tried to call in. The first call was made by my mother who received two to three abrupt hellos then a disconnected line. I tried to call a few moments later from my phone, the female that answered said two short hellos called me a “Dumbass” then hung up the phone. There was little to no time to speak or say anything for either one of us. I have two hopes for this establishment…

To the person who answered the phones, I hope in the future you consider there might be issues regarding connectivity where the phone call is concerned and not that someone is messing with you. I’ve answered phones before and would recommend if you don’t hear someone then let them know you can’t hear them and to call back or feel free to stop in then hang up.

To Management/ Owners I hope this was not considered acceptable behavior from the people you choose to employ. Please consider educating and/ or doing a refresher training on phone etiquette and having patience.

I don’t know if I’ll be passing through your neck of the woods again, if I do I look forward to the opportunity to change my rating...

Love going to this restaurant! I have been there several times. I am a foodie and Their food is super delicous and those serving are kind.

They give you plenty of food and it is not too pricy. I do not remember the names of all the food we ate, but we especially loved the kabobs (so, so yummy. Very flavorful and cooked perfectly!)

It is just a little and casual place, but like I said: the food is incredibly good and fresh, i would totally recommend it to anyone!

It is the perfect place stop for lunch, go out with a friend or to try some ethnic food with the family!

(And yes, if you are wondering they have a tv)

We went as a family and all of us loved the food.

But They do serve some american food for the children or anyone not brave enough to try something new. (Not to mention i am a french fry freak and their fries are A+. ...yes, i sneaked a few from my nephew😉)

And p.s. just in case you like baklava, it is worth every penny. It tastes fresh and is served warm! Yum, yum, yum!

Well we had jus drove down from Buffalo NY. We had jus picked up Mo's brand NEW Subaru!! Wanted a bite to eat before we headed back home. Asked our sales rep if there was any good food near the dealership. Had said I like Mediterranean and sent us down the street to Ali's Mediterranean. Service was amazing and she even recommended the spicy gyro wich I loved! Morgan had the Greek chicken salad wich also was amazing. Upon leaving and telling the lovely lady that the food was absolutely delicious an older gentleman had said come back soon in wich we both replied where from Buffalo and this was our only time where gonna be here. Told him the food was really good 👍. Think he might have been the owner cause he ran back in the kitchen and cam out with a goodbye desert in wich Morgan had never had before. The Baklava was super tasty and crispy wich made the experience to West Virginia all the more worth the trip down.
