I had heard great things about this place since it opened, so I decided to give their pizza a try when I noticed a buy-one-get-one-free deal on Uber Eats. I placed the order through the app and everything appeared to go smoothly.
When I arrived to pick up the order, I noticed that both pizzas were plain cheese. I let the manager know this wasn’t what I had ordered. He responded that only cheese was included because that’s all I had paid for.
I asked to see the receipt, which clearly listed the additional toppings I had selected. The manager then pointed out that the toppings showed a price of $0.00, and claimed that since no extra charge was applied, they were not included.
I asked how this was my fault, considering the toppings were clearly listed on the receipt. At that point, he told me to contact Uber Eats if I had an issue and said he wasn’t going to deal with it further. When I said I no longer wanted the pizzas and would like a refund, he again told me to call Uber Eats and insisted I take the pizzas with me.
The customer service experience was extremely disappointing.
The only positive note is that my wife enjoyed the cheese pizza and said it was excellent. Great food but the service needs serious...
Read moreI've been happy with this place and it's become our weekly go-to for pizza in the area. To be fair, the bar in Clarksburg/Bridgeport is pretty low in my opinion, nothing really blows us away. Casa is decently priced, the pies are massive and the flavor and crust are solid. Every time I've ordered online, our pizza's were ready to go.
Regarding Hunter: The Uber Eats review. I don't see how this is Casa's problem. Uber eats didn't collect the money for the toppings, so you expect Casa to just eat that expense on their end for free? Uber Eats should be the one to refund you since that's where the monetary transaction occurred, Casa didn't collect your money or credit card info, so how do you expect them to refund you? It's simpleminded to penalize the restaurant with a one-star review because you don't understand how...
Read moreThis is my go-to pizza restaurant ever since the first time I ordered there. This is just like the local pizza joints I grew up with. The only reason I’m giving this a 4 star is because the last time I went into pick up a pizza on Monday, the 4 employees seemed like I was an inconvenience for picking up my pizza, however every single time before I was met with smiles, pleasantries, and hot food ready to go before I even got there. The big chain stores around here are constantly slipping, and most of the small franchise or locally owned joints are constantly slow or late with your food. I have yet to be disappointed by the pizza and they haven’t business as long as my last journey in there was a one-off bad customer...
