Everything was mediocre except the price. Honestly I don't know why there are so many positive reviews for this place, so I had to add mine. I've given Fridays two chances and both times were awful. Our server was very nice but she was not a good server. She sat us and as we were still sitting down, literally not in the seat yet, she asked us what we wanted to drink and if we wanted appetizers. I said we needed a few minutes to look at the menu. She was back, no kidding, a minute and a half later to ask us the same. I decided to skip the menu full of cocktail offerings and just get lemonade since it was so urgent to order. That could've been even more money for this greedy chain, but oh well. There were not a lot of options for food, which was surprising for a chain like that. And the choices aren't unique to this restaurant. Even Bob Evans and IHOP offers the same appetizers. We ordered crispy fried green bean fries, which were heavily breaded and tasted like nothing. No green bean flavor or even hint of vegetable taste. The dipping sauce, that came in the smallest condiment cup I'd ever seen, was the only flavor. My partner ordered the feast with 2 proteins, he chose ribs and chicken fingers. It came with bland, soggy cole slaw that looked like it was made with lettuce and not cabbage - no description on the menu to confirm, and the palest and saddest macaroni and cheese we'd ever seen. There was a chalky flavor to the thick, goopy cheese and the noodles were both under and over cooked. His ribs were barely sauced with the whisky glaze, and they were over fried with very little meat on the bone. Since he opted not to get his chicken fingers sauced they came with nothing, no dipping sauce was offered. My salad was large but it came pre-dressed. I like to go through and look for bad lettuce or big pieces of stem that I don't want to eat but I couldn't do that easily. It had way more dressing than I would've put, and was soppy with that bland ranch. I couldn't tell what pieces were whatany as the tomatoes, cucumber, and onion were cut into tiny cubes and were all the same color. My lettuce was also wilted from combination of pre-dressing it and adding extremely hot chicken to it. I'm guessing they prepared my salad and then it sat while they prepared my partner's meal and the fried chicken pieces were split between our plates. That's fine if I ordered chicken fingers but not on my cold salad, it made it gross. After she brought our entrees, we didn't see our server until she stopped to offer to-go boxes and get our check about fifteen minutes later. I noticed that she never asked hiw our meal was or if we enjoyed the food, probably on purpose. The biggest surprise was the bill, it was just under $70. And that's without adding a tip. Restaurant chains like this should be ashamed of the prices on their menus, especially knowing everything came from the freezer. Save your money and go to the...
Read moreService was fine. Our server was nice, I think her name was Juliet. However, the food was terrible. We went on a Sunday afternoon to dine in, the place was empty. Only a couple other people dining in at the time.
I ordered the grilled chicken with the whiskey sauce glaze, a side of “seasoned” fries and the “garlic butter” broccoli. Note the quotation marks. The only thing this food was seasoned with is thoughts and prayers. Not a speck of anything resembling seasoning nor garlic butter was present on this dish. The chicken was not fresh at all and looked like it came out of a microwaved kid’s meal, completed with the fake Burger King grill marks. I laughed out loud when I saw it. The whiskey glaze sauce barely tasted like anything, just a typical sweet bourbon sauce but the quality of the chicken was so bad, nothing could save it. The fries were fries. That’s all. Definitely not seasoned. The broccoli was sooo so dry, no butter, no garlic, no taste. No love was put into this food whatsoever. I understand this place mainly specializes in bar food, but you shouldn’t have to be consuming alcohol just to enjoy it. The portion to cost ratio is also terrible.
Other comments from the table included the fried foods tasting like it was fried in old, dirty oil and an overall lack of freshness in the salad and veggies. Whoever is cooking the food does NOT like their job and I feel bad for the wait staff having to serve this mess. Super disappointing, this place used to be good....
Read moreThe first time my family and I went there (back when they first opened up) was just a horrible experience. I understand that with a new place opening up, there's bound to be hiccups along the way. We haven't been back until tonight. We won't be going back again. Took around 20 minutes for the waitress to take our drink orders and appetizer order. 20 more minutes go by and we finally get our drinks and appetizer and the waitress takes our main order. The restaurant was not busy at all, maybe a total of 17 patrons inside. 5 minutes go by and our main entrees arrive while we just started with the appetizer. The food was extremely bland, almost like the steaks were boiled and then seared. We decided to just take the appetizer home with us and start on our entree when the waitress comes up to us to ask if we're going to need a box and if we're ready for the check. She brings the check and hovers until I get my card out to pay. She takes off and immediately brings us the receipt. Where was that speed at at the beginning? I can understand a little bit that you're rushing your customers when you're about to close up, but not when there's still close to an hour before you close.
Summary: -Service was slow when taking drinks but extremely fast when it came to paying/tipping
-Food was really bland
-Price was expensive for the amount of said food. We could've went to Outback or Texas Roadhouse for a much larger better tasting steak and better experience for...
