Today we visited El Pueblito to celebrate my 28th Birthday. We have been coming to El Pueblito for years for their fantastic Columbian food. This evening I had my wife, parents, and grandfather with me. We started with a few appetizers including some empenadas and tostones. The empenadas were nice and crisp and the tostones come with this very flavorful salsa. For an entree I ordered the El Bandejo del Pueblito which is basically a "one of everything" meat dish which comes with steak, chicken, sausage, and pork. Each entree came with rice and beans. My wife loved her chicken tacos and everyone else at our table enjoyed their food and said they'd return with us next year. The only issues I have with this location is that the servers do not speak much English and sometimes it's hard to communicate with them - and there always seems to be a fruit fly flying around the table. However, the friendliness of the staff and quality of the food overshadow these minor inconveniences. I would recommend anyone looking for a classic Columbian dish visit El Pueblito Restaurant.

It had been a long time since we visited this place but like last time it didn't disappoint. There was probably more food than anybody could eat, but plenty was accompanied by delicious! We went there on a Sunday evening and there were plenty of people there already. The service was a little slow and I think it was due to the types of food that we ordered (some dishes are a lot more elaborate than others). If you love tradicional latin-americas food, this is the place for you. The "Bandejas" are a true Smörgåsbord of food. It might be a little on the pricey side for a large family but a great place to take your significant other.

I had one of the best Mojarra Frita from this place. The flavor, the crispiness of the fish, everything was perfect. When you first walk into the restaurant, it feels like the ones in Colombia that I’ve visited. The food tastes exactly the same. It’s always amazing to have food that matches. This restaurant is truly a gem. I can’t wait to be back. The only downside (which is not the restaurant’s fault) is that finding parking is difficult. It’s definitely worth it to eat here or order take out.

It had been years since I had been to this restaurant. The food was just as delicious as it was the first time. To be honest, this is probably some of the best Columbian food that I have ever had (and I've been to columbia). Unfortunately the service was terrible. The servers were impatient and a bit too persistent on getting us out the door. I have to make mention of it because I anticipate coming back and having better service upon return. We were tended to by 2 different waitresses. One chubby and the other a very weathered looking older woman. Inattentive and equally impatient bordering rude. After some time I let my girlfriend deal with the waitresses for fear of blowing up on them. Again, the meal was fabulous. I will definitely go back but if the service reflects the type of service I recieved today, I will be speaking with management. Good...

Good decor here and music. Good latin atmosphere. The food is top knotch. I am giving this a 3 star due to the service. Two waitresses I have had were horrible. The expectation is that when a customer enters, you tend to them immediately. One girl had me wait 15-20 mins just to ask me for a drink. Today, a waitress was on her break eating, but with low staffing, she did not stand up to assist her co-worker. I don't blame the black girl since she had 3 full tables to tend to, but the girl on break took more than 15 mins and did not care to help her coworker. You have to know when, at times, you need to cut your break short in a small business. Help the clients and then get back to your break. Don't let your coworker drown and have your clients waiting without offering them a seat...
