Rum & Tequilla Fusion — Restaurant in Bridgeport

First let me say I would've gave Rum & Tequila 5 stars for the Food , the atmosphere and for the Manager having a wonderful vibe ( The Lady with the white hair ) but our waitress JC (Janyel) was horrible. She needs to be trained on Customer Service and how to serve Food and drinks at a large table. Our first night at Rum & Tequila was Monday night for Karaoke which was great 👍🏽. The vibe was awesome but our waitress JC had a attitude. My friend asked JC for ranch sauce, she waited so long that I got up and asked the person in the kitchen for the sauce . Eventually JC came back inside from smoking a cigarette. My friends and I still enjoyed Karaoke Monday night. The food was so good my friends and I decided to do couple night. Once again JC was our waitress and her mannerism is disgusting. When JC gave my friends there drinks , she stood on my right side and stretched over my food to put the drinks on the table. She should've walked over to there side and handed the drink to them. My friend nicely called her for another drink and JC didn't even turn around to acknowledge my friend . She rudely put up her index finger as a gesture that we should wait!! Then me and my husband order a drink and patiently waited . JC came back to our table and gave the other couple there drink meanwhile we ordered ours way before them . I asked JC " oh did you forget about me" JC walked behind me and said " I'm not the only bartender here sweetie " I definitely didn't like the tone in her voice , so I walked to the bar and canceled our drink. She muffled something and the owner told her if they don't want the drink it's ok. Her attitude is definitely a turn off. We will not...

I was so hungry one day and wanted to eat right away. So I decided to get chicken rasta pasta, shrimp rasta pasta, and some sliders. I asked for mild because my kids and i don't do spicy, from Rum and Tequila. Ordered my food on uber eats and then someone from the establishment called and said they have no sliders. So we gotten chicken tenders instead. It arrived 40 minutes later. We opened the food and immediately was disgusted. The food was dry as he'll, no sauce, no flavor, noodles I undercooked and the food was spicy. The tenders were overcooked and the fries were very soggy. I could have made a better meal than that. It was such a disappointment being that I had their food 2 years ago and it was delicious. That chef needs to be fired! If I could give the a 0 rating I would have! I still have all that nasty food sitting in my fridge. I've will be bringing it right back to them. I don't care if it's 4 days later. The food was inedible. Not sure how you post a picture here, i would sure love to show the people what I've experienced.

Update:: bought all 3 items back to this establishment since they thought I was lying. And they still did not refund me my money. What a waste of $73.00. Never again! Also I didn't just come here bashing your establishment, I reached out to uber for a refund because the food was disgusting. Uber didn't cook the food. Your chef did. I will start by saying I was introduce to the owner by my sister and friend. She was very sweet, however that place is a disaster!!

Literally the WORST service I’ve ever had!!!! I get everyone is short staff, but this was beyond unacceptable!!! The waitress had a horrible attitude and she was very dismissive. Actually, their whole staff in general are RUDE… I’ve never been into a “restaurant” with so many rude and bitter females…. Why are you so angry??? Maybe customer service is not the field for you… The waitress from the beginning wasn’t friendly, never gave us water and NEVER checked up on us. The food was beyond BASIC. Waited for 2 hours for “Rasta pasta” (beyond bland), empanadas (hardly no meat), and wings that we NEVER received!!! Not to mention we never received plates or utensils!!! My friend literally had to get up and get PAPER plates utensils! After waiting 2hrs for the food, now to wait for plates and forks?!!! I will never again come here or recommend anyone to come here!!!! I happened to be in the area and that’s the ONLY reason I came!
