Matty's Corner — Restaurant in Bridgeport

Ok folks. Here is the low down on this joint . I'm from Canada and just came back from CT for work purposes. I radomely found this little dive bar ( I mean that in the niceist way possible) because it was within walking distance from my hotel. The staff was welcoming ( big thank you to the bartender that kept calling me Canada lol) I met some of the locals. A guy that played in a rock band in the 70s and early 80s at the playboy mansion ( wish I could recall the band name) another film buff that bought me a brand of beer that was in jaws) . And a bunch of other friendly people. All and all this was a great experience. A little hole in the wall that is fun to have a few drinks. I will be coming back. Drinks were cheap. Horrible cleanliness, many things in a state of disrepair, very dimly lit so much so that I thought it was out of business. With that being said they finally fixed some of the most egregious issues with the men's restroom and the drinks are still priced well and a better value than most bars I've been to. I went to this hole in the wall bar while visiting CT after eating at fire engine pizza and man what a let down. First off WHAT BAR DOES NOT ACCEPT DEBIT/CREDIT payments. I was instructed to use the ATM and then returned to the bar to find my drinks made already with water down flavor. High priced for totally disgusting beverages.
