Stopped by Tokyo November 9 at 3pm with my daughter. We thought we’d grab a salmon avocado roll as a snack. What we were served was rancid. The Salmon (as seen in the photos) was discolored and smelled of rotten fish and ammonia. What went in my mouth IMMEDIATELY came back out. When I dissected a piece of the roll what I found was absolutely alarming! I took our uneaten food back and asked for a refund. The woman working behind the counter told me,”you leave the counter... you pay for food.” I said, “are you serious?” She said, again very hostile, “You leave counter.. you pay.” I walked away and started taking photos of my food and the restaurant. She came to the table and offered me another type of sushi roll. I told her that I don’t want any of the food served at that restaurant. She forcefully grabbed the plate and told me she will throw it away. She told me that the Salmon served at her restaurant is a different type of Salmon. She said that I just am not familiar with this type of Salmon and that is why it tasted funny to me.
