If you’re on a budget and you want to have a nice updated and very clean room, this is the place for you!
The motel was exactly as pictured on their website, very nice and clean. The rooms were exactly as pictured, so you will get what you see in the pictures. But do keep in mind I can only speak for room 110. My room did look like the pictures on the motel’s website.
This Motel has been newly remodeled and the staff said it was completely finished about 4 months ago. The room that I was in, the first thing I noticed was how fresh and clean it smelled, and the bathroom and sink area was immaculate clean. You could tell that the rooms had been freshly painted, it had a new bathtub and commode, all of the walls were freshly painted. They replaced the old carpets with new luxury vinyl that looks like hardwood floors. Much more hygienic than the old-fashioned carpeted floors.
New furniture, mattresses and an updated TV.
Also the microwave and refrigerator looked new and the refrigerator kept our drinks super cold. I was just amazed of the price that we got on this very clean room.
They do have a safe in your room if you have valuables, you would like to lock up.
The air conditioner worked great! The staff were exceptionally friendly.
You can walk across the parking lot and there is a Burger King just right there. There is the Meadowbrook mall just around the corner and they have a Target store there and a movie cinema along with other stores and I think we counted 12 or 13 restaurants, including Chick-fil-A, Outback Steakhouse, the mall has a website with a list of all of their restaurants and stores. https://www.meadowbrookmall.com/
There is a public park just a little over 2 miles away (about 8 min) to your south on Johnson Ave. that has beautiful walking trails and places for kids to play. They do have a website as well.
Then close to 5 miles (about 9 min) south back out on the interstate is another mall with Walmart and more fast food.
The reservation also comes with a free breakfast from 6 AM to 9 AM, that is basically a waffle bar with all the fixings that goes on the waffles, and there was coffee, juice, apples and granola bars to choose from as well.
If you are a big coffee drinker, please do note that there is not a coffee maker in the room however they do keep coffee made for their guest if you would like to go to the lobby where the breakfast bar is; they keep hot coffee there, and you can fill up anytime. I always travel with my own little 16 oz coffee thermos so not having a coffee maker in my room was not a big deal.
I had seen where some people complained that there was not much of a selection for breakfast, however, with what the price of food is these days and at the price they charge for these rooms, I’m surprised they even offer free breakfast anymore, so I feel like their customers still get a great value for their money.
No, it’s not a 3 or 4 star hotel as far as amenities go, but I have been in hotels that cost 4 times more than this and they were no cleaner than this hotel, fancier, but not cleaner. This is just your basic hotel room without all the bells and whistles, but everything that you will need.
We stayed in room 110 and there was a very convenient vending room right beside of our room, which had vending machines with snacks, pop, and ice machine. It also had a very convenient area to wash your clothes.
If you’re there on a Wednesday night or the weekend and you normally go to church, but you’re in the middle of a long journey, they do have a church just around the curve that we attended and the people there were super friendly, a very nice church called Centerbranch Church.

Read moreNo hot water in my room. Jordan said the GM looked and the shower cartridges were installed wrong. Front desk worker Jordan said to call Travelocity for a refund. Which I did. They called her and she lied to them saying there was hot water and never told me that. I called her and asked why and she said I just wanted a refund and hung up on me. I called back and could hear her and the GM Ketul laughing in background. He then came on and said it was my fault for not figuring out the plumbing. Said I was the only one to ever complain. Multiple complaints on Trip Advisor regarding the water being an issue. One even had to microwave water to take a bath. I called corporate and they said they will take care of it as there have been others call them with the same concern regarding staff attitude. (Check-in clerk was very pleasant). Corporate was gracious enough to refund the money, but I told them to donate it as it was not about the money but the lack of hospitality. Many other options in the area. Please saved the canned response I am...
