Our company has employee appreciation meals every month. Everyone votes on their favorite option provided in the Google Form poll sent out. This January 2025, out of everyone who voted in the company (about 90 out of 120), Imo's was the establishment most voted for. The food did arrive, but it was at least 15-20 minutes earlier than requested. Numerous people in our company don't have the option of going to lunch whenever they want to which is why I scheduled it to be delivered at the time I did (It gave me the perfect amount of time to distribute around both buildings) I called the store and spoke to a manager on duty at about 11:30 am on 1/23 about many employee's inability to to take a lunch until the time assigned to them ( 12:00 or 12:30) which is why I scheduled the delivery the time that I did-11:45 because we have 2 buildings to bring the lunch to in order for it to be set up and ready by noon. The manager at the Imos this day told me they prepare and send the order whenever it's ready and they normally send it early so customers have time to prepare the lunch BY setting out boxes of pizza. That makes no sense. Pizza takes less than 10 minutes to distribute to each of our buildings. They are just cardboard boxes with food inside. We are a small company. This is not a heated holiday buffet here! If you schedule something at a specific time though, wouldn't make sense to arrive at the time requested and not assume your catering customers are dumb and cant plan ahead to factor in the time it will take to distribute?? With the amount of around $1,000 spent on pizza that ended up cold for most, the manager not only refused to take a dime off the order, he was rude, unsympathetic, and provided the absolute worst customer service I've encountered in a long time. I never asked for a refund, but I did ask for them to take SOMETHING off the bill by delivering early causing some to wait as long as 30 minutes plus to eat. Some are scheduled for lunch at 12. Some 12:30, like I said. Others can get up and eat lunch whenever.
PLEASE REALIZE THAT IF SOMETHING IS SCHEDULED AT A SPECIFIC TIME, ITS BECAUSE ITS NEEDED AT THAT SPECIFIC TIME. IT DOES NOT MEAN I NEED YOU TO ARRIVE EARLY (PER SAID EXCUSE) IN ORDER FOR ME TO DISTRIBUTE A COMPANY LUNCH APPROPRIATELY. AS A CUSTOMER, I FACTORED THAT TIME IN ALREADY. AND IF YOUR POLICY IS TO ARRIVE EARLY, HEY, MAYBE TELL THE CUSTOMER ORDERING! I MADE THE ORDER WITH A MANAGER ON TOP OF THIS SO YOUD THINK THE ORDER WOULD BE PRVIDED CORRECTLY!
This is the worst experience in almost 3 years wereI work for. Its pretty easy to be blamed when I am in charge of planning every month's lunches. The company isn't. It reflects on my performance. This was horrible customer service and we will never order again. The company will spend their allotted thousands for lunch and two other catering events every month...
Read moreI ordered my pizza online for the first time. I was a little hesitant because I don't like change and I've always had to call in and talk to a human. So after conquering that miniature panic attack I placed my order. XL Pepperoni, EXTRA black olives (EXTRA!), EXTRA cheese (once again, EXTRA!). 20 pc. Provel bites. 2 or liter of Coke. It'll be 40-50 minutes, which on a Tuesday night at 10pm? Almost an hour? Ooh well, no big deal Pizza showed up. Driver was cool, asked to pet my dog which was awesome as he's a service animal and you always ask. Anyway ... The Provel bites were way overcooked, meaning all the delicious ooey-gooey cheese was back in the deep fryer, leaving me with hollow husks that even my dog did not care for. The pizza was way overcooked too, had maybe a dozen black olives on it total and most certainly did not have extra cheese. Ok, honest mistake. I called up there and spoke to the manager who finally came to the phone after making me wait for 10 minutes and proceeded to tell me that I was a liar because they weigh their ingredients so there's no way I didn't get the ingredients that I ordered multiple times he told me this I have been eating Imo's Pizza for 30 years I know what extra cheese looks like it was very rude I...
