Benny's Kitchen — Restaurant in Bridgewater Township

Have you ever walked into a place and you actually felt like wow!Home. Like the atmosphere just grabs.you? Well the couple who own this wonderful ,all homemade breakfast and lunches and they cater .The food is so delicious ,due to the virus I have not been there in a little while but I used to go every Sunday because the woman to me is the most beautiful person I have ever met. Her and her husband Benny walk up to you and your family and shake your hand and you can feel the love they have for people by the way they cook and the work they put into their very beautiful place. I have been to restaurants where you pay an arm and a leg and I mean this was with an ex boyfriend and I kid you not Jack Nicholson and Lora Flynn Boyle were in there Aspen Colorado. That was very cool but to me the food was so overpriced and the portions were so small . Leave it to me (as we were leaving naturally After 20 minutes of begging the waitress whose attitude reminded me of one of the mean girls, I asked my boyfriend (at that time to throw me my wallet so I could bribe want to be a barbie with $100 ) I was determined to get an autograph. He was like its only Jack Nicholson he comes here all the time and I said yeah,well I don't and won't ever again because the food tasted not like food and they have an A list Actor and his fiance who is also famous actress and they serve portions like this! Oops. That's when I heard hey kid you okay he and Ms Boyle got quite a kick out of my tone because the entire place got really quiet. But I wish I could tell Mr Nicholson Benny's is the place to go they deserve way more than $100. And honestly I don't believe that they are in the food industry just for the money because the way they cook and the rice pudding alone geesh. Huge fan of rice pudding. Their's is the best rice pudding I have ever had in my entire life hands down. They could open a franchise and probably have several operations and make more money than that slim Pickens place in Aspen. Love Aspen but not the food food I had. So people try to remember it's not the whether or not the curtains match the carpet, who cares. Benny's is extremely clean and comfortable and food is perfection and made with hard working loving and kind hands.. There to eat and enjoy good people not feel rushed. Not there to be a snooty interior decorator /judge. I wouldn't care if it was Jack's bistro from three's company as long as the people are kind the food is yummy and the bathroom and tables are clean and the price is right. I feel she and Benny are such amazing cooks they can raise their prices if they wanted to that's how good they are. ...

Absolutely love everything about this place!! Helen and Benny pour their heart and soul into this restaurant and you can feel it from the moment you walk in. Helen and Benny are absolutely great. My boyfriend grew up in Warren and so knew Helen and Benny since childhood. After meeting them for the first time a few months ago Helen remembered my name the second time around and even remembered how exactly I liked to order their tabouli wrap.
