Lombardi Pizza Co. offers up quite possibly the best pizza this side of the Atlantic. One can tell from just watching the chefs behind the line, the wealth of knowledge that they possess from the right type of wood, to use making sure the oven gets to the optimal temperature, to the amount of time it takes to allow the dough to rise to perfection which creates the perfect crust. The toppings used are of the highest quality which you can tell by how delicious the finished product is. Not to mention the specials they have which seem to always add something special and unique to an already fantastic menu. The ambiance is cozy with a very friendly staff who always makes you feel as if you are a regular. Lombardi Pizza Co manages to stand out in the crowded New Jersey pizza scene and is definitely a destination you should seek out. You will not be...
Read moreHad dinner with 6 friends on Saturday night. We made reservation for 6pm and we had to leave at 730 because they had another party for our table. Restaurant is small but atmosphere is very nice. It's byol and waiter immediately asked if we wanted our bottles opened. There were a lot of great options for individual sized pizzas. I had the Adriana and shared some of the Hadley. Both were very tasty. Pies were freshly made to order. We also shared the Caesar salal between 5 of us. Everyone was very nice and accomodating. Food came out pretty fast. It was a little bit difficult to find but you can look for food truck parked out front or piles of wood. There was some outdoor seating and most of the parking is in the back. I highly recommend and look forward...
Read moreI had high expectations for their pizza because of all the 5 star reviews. Overall it was just mediocre in my opinion. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t terrible either. We had the Hadley pizza and the Ellie pizza. We both agreed that the Hadley pizza was much better than the Ellie. The Hadley pizza was good, but it could of been much better. It said it was suppose to be topped with goat cheese, but you couldn’t taste any goat cheese at all. Overall the pizza was still good. The Ellie pizza wasn’t that good. The kale on top didn’t taste good on top of that pizza. The cheeses they used didn’t taste high quality at all. The dough wasn’t chewy or tasty either. It definitely wasn’t worth the drive for us, but it’s decent if you live...
