This place is awful I am shocked they have good reviews on here. I called in an order for pickup but when I came in they had no idea what I was talking about said they had taken no order. I even showed them my outgoing phone call to them! I was so annoyed I just left. Then I decide to give it a try again today. my boyfriend went in to grab the food while I waited in the car. Thank god I looked inside the bag when I got in my car because my sandwhich was not there. I went back in and they said they were out of the cream cheese I had asked for so they just decided not to include it in my order without telling me! I told them they. I told them they could have simply given me a phone call back when they realized this or at the very least let me know before we left with only one breakfast sandwich. Guess they just figured it didn't matter and the other person could just starve oh well. So they make my bagel I requested toasted with cheese cheese and it is terrible. Not toasted super chewy and so little cream cheese I can't even taste it. My boyfriend grew up in brigantine and has been going here for years and said they used to pack their sandwiches and now they put the littlest amount of cream cheese, eggs, bacon, whatever on everything. So cheap! Not to mention my bagel with cream cheese and an orange juice was $7!!!! So overpriced. Oh and the one lady at the counter is so rude and miserable always so unpleasant. Gave this place too many chances never coming here again. I deserve...

I felt obligated to share this with your management. My family and I recently dined at your Brigantine location for the second time. We were taking my husband out for a Father's Day brunch. He ordered eggs, sausage and home fries. When he tasted the sausage, it was obvious that something was wrong with it. He asked me to taste it. It was falling part and didn't taste like sausage. We agreed it was spoiled or expired. We told our waitress. She told us that she would tell the chef. She didn't really apologize. When the check came, we were shocked that not only was the meal not removed from the check, but we weren't even given any discount at all. Not surprisingly, my husband had major stomach issues the following day up until noon.

Normally my husband and I don't complain about most things at restaurants, because we have both worked as servers and bartenders for many years, but If I were the manager or owner of thus restaurant, I would want to know bout this experience.

I'm hoping that the info never made it to the chef or manger, and that the waitress is to blame here.

I can't say that we will ever return after an experience like...

We ordered take out 4 different things with 2 of them being French toast, one being gluten free & they didn’t mark which was which. I tried to call to ask but they just keep answering hold please for over 10 minutes. So I went there & told them I now wanted hot French toast & why weren’t they marked & I was told I should’ve known that the thinner slices were GF. I asked how would I know that & the nasty girl said it was obvious. Then she remade them after tossing the old ones out & she took a big marker and put a note gluten free underling it multiple times & marked the other one regular unnecessarily. She was also nasty to my daughter when she picked up the food & her smoothie was missing she acted like it was my daughter’s fault. It’s too bad I used to like the place& recommended. I have a home on the island. I will no longer do that if that person continues to be their customer...

To be clear, the food was excellent! The unfortunate situation is not related to the food quality, rather it is to how they handled the issue (hence I gave the 3 stars to be fair). My wife found a metal hook in her omelette! We showed the server and she said she was sorry. The manager did not even bother to come out and address the issue. It was a very serious issue that could have sent her to the hospital, I would imagine the owner or the manager needed to address and apologize. The took the item off our bill, but I felt a sincere apology from the owner was needed. This is clearly situation where they can be sued for a lot of money (we are not in the business of suing restaurants, to be clear). I hope they learn for next time to show more respect and address the issue in a better way

The service was impressive for it to be breakfast rush. The food presentation was lovely. The outdoor patio seating was comfortable and as expected, the gnats were pesky since there wasn't much of a breeze but the good food and better company made for delightful breakfast service. I took an entree home and once there I realized my bacon wasn't on the plate. My husband enjoyed it very much without the meat which is why I rate this establishment a five. If my carnivorous husband greatly enjoyed his meal without meat, then the rest had to be quite delicious. Will def be back and recommend.

Fantastic restaurant. Great staff. Good variety of menu options for both breakfast and lunch. Food was delicious, I ordered the cinna-yum, (cinnamon swirl bread slices topped with strawberries, blueberries, and cream cheese icing. A perfect breakfast in my book. I wasn't very hungry but had to eat it all, the flavor was to-die-for. Everything tasted very fresh. Would have rated 5 stars but it seemed a little pricey for some of even the simpler menu items. And a decent wait to be seated (about 30 mins) however they were very busy. Will still most definitely be back!
