Read moreWe came to Bristol with no knowledge of Janie’s Restaurant. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Janie waited on us herself and although she was shuffling five or six tables, she gave us plenty of her time. Once we had ordered our drinks (in oversized cups which is awesome), we ordered an appetizer of chips and salsa. They dropped fresh chips in the fryer which came out hot and delicious. The salsa was chucks and flavorful! We ordered the chicken livers and the country fried chicken. The livers were cooked perfectly, which is not easy, they were properly cooked but not dried out. Read moreThis is our 3rd time back in 2 weeks. I can't tell you how mad I am that it took me 2 years to find this place! Hands down the best home cookin' in the tri-cities area! Janie is great and it's an awesome place to stop at.

Janie comes by greeting you by name, remembers your kids, and treats you like family.

Load up on those beauties..and don't forget the house made ranch..on everything... Did I mention they hand bread their tenders? Yup, they do. They go good with that ranch I was sayin... The desserts have been phenomenal! (Probably good with that ranch, but I didn't think about...
